For this to work you need to have a character on 'survival' difficulty. This is so you drop all your items upon death which is important to this method. Preference is on the Humans because this is the only one i have tried. Because you lose 30% pixels on death you should either spend, store your pixels or create a new character just so you don't lose those pixels. I know some of the races have different sized teleporters, such as Glitch, meaning you cannot use this method with that race as you cannot pick all blocks up on respawn so the blocks despawn.

You then need 39,000 planet blocks and water. Moon dust seems to be a fast and easy way to end up with the 39k blocks due to its low break time. Beware of the Erchius Ghosts though as if they kill you, you'll have to waste time finding your blocks again. The disadvantage to moon dust is that it requires you to play through the story to fix the FTL drive. If you are doing this on a fresh character it might be faster just to use the dirt and not to bother with the FTL drive.



The achievement is calculated by blocks picked up and not blocks destroyed making it very easy to manipulate into an automatic system.

When you have all those items you need to beam up to your ship and remove the background of the teleporter room and replace it with any blocks in your inventory, for this i used dirt. This is so the water we will use doesn't leak.



Next you want to wall in the sides as much as you can and then proceed filling it up with water. I did try using lava and poison however the teleporter negates the effects of those and you drown as if they are just water so for simplicity you may as well just use water.



You will begin to drown with the 39,000 dirt blocks in your inventory. Upon death you will drop all items and respawn in the 'DIY fish tank of doom'. You will automatically pick up all items you dropped on death. The process will then repeat.



For the achievement you will need to pick up 10,000,000 blocks meaning that you will have to AFK through 252 cycles which should not take longer than 3.5 hours.

I hope this proved useful to those wanting to get this achievement without the painful grind.
