Suggestion: Key Code Challenges
I hate having to remember, or look up the key codes eveytime I come back to this game. Its annoying and quiet frankly immersion breaking have to look up the Date of the Winery so I can unlock the safe, or get mixed up on which key code opens the doors in China.

... especially when these maps are meant for repeat playability.

Can we have a challenge for each time we first use the applied code.
And it rewards you by automatically entering the code in subsequent runs.
(like how the shortcuts are permanently unlocked once and forever) :ClassicQuack:

Either memorize them using memory systems, or just... look them up? It's not that time consuming. But even if you can't do that (maybe you play offline idk) then just search up a list of all the codes in the game and print/write them down. Honestly the amount of time it takes to search this up is not long enough for IO to make a whole addition to the game.

If you can't remember the codes (fair, there are a lot of them) and don't want to alt-tab out, you could just find the codes in-game. All of them can be deduced through hints inside the maps.
I just think it could be better, and should be better. Hence the suggestion.

I think for accessibility this should be a Quality of Life features that improves replayability.

Like 2552 must be the worse code, even I mess that one up alot and I am not dyslexic.

Other games with keypads do the auto-fill with clue unlock, why not Hitman?

I keep a file of all the codes and other info I need. It's useful in hitman, and other games too.

For me though, I love all these codes and was a nice addition when they added it to H3. Gives an extra layer or realism instead of just magically opening everything automatically. I hope we'll get more of this sort of thing in the 007 games.

No thankyou, I don't want that. I don't need this game watered/dumbed down any further.

I still have my notes from certain games. Making personal notes is always an option. I guess people have become allergic to pen and paper.

Looking at the avatar of the OP I know what game made it better in his eyes. ;)
And I hated how modern Deus Ex handled it compared to the 2000 game.

Use a sticky note, either a real one or the program.
yeah i stopped using these and just bypass them, the only one i rememebered was '0118'. its a little tedious to play China and have to google the completely separate apartment keycode. 47 should just automatically punch it in after you do the 'puzzle' once. I just blow it open with a gun instead.

Pen and Paper is not an excuse for this, this isn't an old game. There are 10 different keypad combos across 5 different maps. its a little ridiculous they expect players to memorize them all. It doesn't add anything to the game and is just a chore for the player.

For people saying IOI shouldn't implement this, why not? This would be an easy QoL feature. Just add functionality to the keypad where it checks for the challenge, and if you did the challenge 47 will just do an existing keypad animation (I believe he uses it to open safes with a keypad lock), and the door will open. It already exists in game and they used this system prior to Hitman 3.

Its just a gimmick feature they shoehorned in, probably for VR. Its the same as being forced to use the dumb phone for no real reason (but at least that isn't anywhere near as annoying).

or just look them up on the wiki/ or something similar
besides the ones that change every time, most are the same every time you play, like the china ones always are the same
I am of the strong opinion if you have to look up a "wiki" for information, then the game itself has failed to provide the tools to support the player "in-game"

I just think there is a better way than keeping notes or looking up wikis. Its to IOI own account a game that is meant to last for years, looking up notes and wikis for years each time you forget a number is cumbersome, frustrating, and just annoying.

I am sure many of you have been playing this game for years, and have been trained to do this and accept it... but why should you when their is a better solution. :manthinking:
Like I said, you don't have to look up a wiki for codes. All of them can be discovered through exploring the map.

yea but that takes too long, besides the one you can get in the china map from just being near that one chef woman trying to remember the code
the dubai tower one is especially annoying to find them at
