Update News from Discord

Hey @everyone,

We know it's been a while since the last update, and we want to thank you all for sticking with us. We’ve seen the questions and concerns, and we want to be transparent about where things stand.

Right now, we’re actively working on a larger update that includes a brand new garage system and other core improvements. This update is taking time because we want to do it right and avoid future issues like the ones we’ve seen recently.

We’re also in the process of replacing older vehicles that risk copyright claims, which means we can’t drop new cars as quickly as we’d like. That said, we do plan to start rolling out new DMCA-safe vehicles once the replacements are in place.

The next update will include fixes for the black screen issue and a few smaller gameplay features that have been added as part of our ongoing polish and prep work. While this isn’t the “big update” yet, it’s an important step in getting there.

We hear you, and we know expectations have been high. We just ask for a bit more patience while we continue to build what’s coming next. We’ll do a better job of keeping you in the loop going forward.

Since when is there any kind of copyright issue on "models"? A trillion games with guns have copycat guns with fake names.

Woop woop, looking forward to that update, are there any chance to become Beta tester, if u need that at all? i play 3-6 hours a day, but i think less if the cars are all done, not yet, but soon :)

Thanks for bringing us the news they should've posted on the platform they're selling the game on... Crazy we'd have to go on discord to get news from the developers when this is where we bought the game.

Very interesting approach. Especially with Discord – if you're a bit concerned about data security, it's not that easy to get it running. It also consumes significantly more resources than communicating via Facebook while playing the game, which isn't secure either, of course, but at least it works.

Well, maybe the developers aren't allowed to use the Steam forum, :stop: ?

Major red-flag to ignore steam forums during early access. I've seen it before and it never ends well.

Been working in the gaming industry for over a decade, and I do understand devs for that decision.
Having Steam forums is nice and all, but every (troll) can post here and it's a lot of work to keep it moderated and up to date.

Having Discord is a nice way to connect with the community, and lets be real, Discord is the go to nowadays, it just has so many options and features and it's free.
And, no offense, if you complain about the resources that discord needs on your pc, you might consider upgrading your Atari.

And there's usually always a nice idiot like me, who feels free to copy and relevant news to Steam forums :-D

I'm a developer just not in the gaming industry. I can't justify putting your head in the sand when it comes to feedback. I was taught to seek feedback. Did they sell their game on discord?

i'd hate to see the cars altered too much. i love the iconic looks!
