Game instantly closes/crashes

Hi,

I currently have the demo and the game instantly crashes/closes after I launch it after a 1 second black screen, here are my specs (altho I don't think the problem would be graphics considering the indicated requirements)

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU
16.0 GB RAM

Hey,
your hardware is a bit old and therefore has problems with the newer graphic APIs used by the game but there is a chance you can run it in openGL mode. So right click the demo in your library and open the game properties there is a line to enter launch options and you put "--rendering-driver opengl3" in there (without the quotation marks). Then try the demo again and write back if it works or not.
