Yup, i've got the same problem... Seems to be a problem that will never get fixed.

Tom clancy ghost recon wildlands just stuck on my desktop and after googeing a bit it seems only way to "fix" that is to wait 7-12 minutes EVERY single time you launch the game.

it works perfectly for me i just booted it up . so i assume ur graphic card settings is to high for ur pc or ur files got corrupted when u dl it mabey try to verify ur files and see if it works also u need to own a ubisoft account to play this game if u got all that u need to figure out what error u get and and check internet how to solve those errors but for me it works perfectly.

You need to install Ubisoft Connect in order to play it!

Just wait for 15-20mins and it will start up just fine. Patience is the key here.

there are other topics saying it's something to do with E-Cores aka you gotta mess with settings in BIOS.

I have i9-14900K RTX 4080 super 1000KW PSU etc the list goes on....

The game worked on my old PC but i tried to play the game first time on "newish" PC and every single time just gets stuck on desktop and im supposed to wait..

It's just broken for new Intels or something i dunno got bored trying to find a fix which doesn't exist and uninstalled the game

Yeah it broke for me also, worked for the first time i loaded it up, though after ubi connect came up it wont load now

I've no idea why everyone on this sub forum keeps saying you have to mess with your BIOS settings, when there are multiple software ways to limit number of cores/threads a game or any app sees like Process Lasso. You can even use Windows Task Manager to check if it works first, but it doesn't remember affinity settings. There is also START /AFFINITY command, although it might not work under Win 11.

UPDATE: apparently software doesn't help in this case because of EAC or smth : (

Hi, I just installed the game and after the start menu it closes. But it also tells me that the VRAM usage is: 1715/128MB.

for me all is working, im sure im not played this game yet after pc change, so it should not be a problem. W11. Game need UbiConnect service, then it installs Anticheat service.

Doesnt work on W11. It keeps loading. It worked fine on W10

It works perfectly fine on my windows 11. Got to say this game rocks hard even after so many years since it was released.
