perfect environment to have a scary environment and amazing sound design but the actual game play is frustrating and boring. you will endlessly wander and not know what to next because the game design doesn't attempt to direct you what to do next the real horror here is the gameplay

So after trying visage in the past and finding it boring and infuriating, I actually played the Dolores chapter and used a walkthrough. This was really creepy and pretty fun.
However while im not saying you would need a walkthrough to complete this game, it was really helpful for certain parts of it. “Moon logic” was a term leveraged against Sierra games in the past, meaning puzzles that were illogical and unintuitive. Visage has a huge case of moon logic
The game is also kind of silly which works with the edgy tone. Like for every section where someone self-harms, you have sections where like the kitchen comes to life and the appliances start arguing with each other
