Steam Servers Are Trash
I'll start to download an update and halfway through I will lose connection. I try to finish the files, but only get a "Content Unavailable" message.

That's an issue on your end. If Steam servers were having issues, everyone would be affected. At the current time, you are the only one out of millions of Steam users reporting this issue.

How is it my fault when it loses connection halfway through a file download? I don't have problems connecting to other servers.
Aaaand you post this on a Tuesday. The one day of the week you know the servers are going to shut down momentarily for maintenance.

Millions of Steam users have this issue. Steam is the only app where the download speed is slow as a snail for lots of people. On other gaming platforms, I can download a 100GB game in a matter of minutes. On Steam, that would take hours.
My internet speed is very good but i still have problems with downloading is it because i download it on a hdd?

You seem to have had connection issues at least since may...

* ISP issue.

* Possibly HDD speed issue too.
If so, fix is replace your very old, small slow-ass HDD with a new, bigger, faster one.

Anything that is 8 TB, or 10 TB+ should do nicely.
(some models to avoid, not too many)

Other gaming platforms don't have the worldwide usage Steam has, and they don't have ISPs throttling traffic to and from them.

Never had issue with steam servers. They're great.

Sometimes the download stops yeah, but that's an issue on my end due to my connection.
Very few issues here, sounds to me like the connections are bad.. are you on fixed wifi or similar.
