Isn't it their policy to not do discounts?

Factorio is always on sale. That way, you don't need to be hesitant to buy it. The price isn't going to change. There's never a time where you are punished financially for not waiting long enough before buying the game.

For fun they should put it on 1% sale.

The game was worth the money I spent on it with the hours I got in it.

In fact, if you look at the graph ( https://isthereanydeal.com/game/factorio/history/#price-chart:overview ) and click on "all", you'll see that the price has actually **increased** over the years. They are definitely doing their own thing.

I wish Valve didn't have the 10% minimum threshold.

:nkCool:

Yeah, instead of DLC they add the expansions to the game and raise the price.

Guild of Dungeoneering and Death Road to Canada did the same thing, with every major update a little price raise.

There's only one Factorio expansion and it's called Space Age and is available as a DLC on Steam.

(It's very worth buying if you like Factorio.)

I still think that's a really dumb business decision, but thanks for bringing receipts!

No kidding. Usually you use DLC to keep the price of the base game low and affordable, but these guys jacked up the price of Factorio by $15 since 2018 without giving players a choice of if they even want the extra content in the first place.

I never forced Europens to stop buying cheap Russian gas. They brought this upon themselves so not my problem

Famous? I never came across it until now. I checked out the store page and the only thing that stuck out to me was that DLC that costs the same amount as the base game lol.

Yeah, no wonder they aren't putting a discount. Why do it if people are still coughing up the $35+tax to buy it + that expensive DLC etc.

Digital equivalent of crack? if whoever gets easily addicted, that's on them. Doesn't look/sound like anything special to me. Also, I've never been addicted to any game.

Screw this game and their overpriced cash grab.

Did you look at the right listing? The only DLC that Wube sells are their OSTs at $7 each.
