Make "problematic" games purchasable via Steam wallet
Don't limit purchases due to payment processors. Instead, mark problematic games as only purchasable via Steam wallet funds. Then, the payment processors aren't involved. They would be used for Steam credit purchases, not for purchasing the games they have issues with.

Allowing payment processors to dictate what is available will lead to more limits over time as to what games are allowed.

You want incest and non-consensual porn games? That's disgusting.

I want minimal restrictions on what people are able to purchase. Your, or my opinion, on what is acceptable shouldn't limit what others are able to purchase, outside of actually illegal content. Right now, the restrictions are on "questionable" sexual content. It isn't to far from that to payment processors deciding that games with extreme violence, such as many shooters, should also be problematic. I can't wait for popular shooters to be modified to the equivalent of paintball games to avoid being considered too violent.

Yes, right now, that isn't the case. However, this forced delisting due to the fact that payment processors don't like something, is problematic in many ways.

the problem is they arent probalmatic

and look. its feminsts. agian. its the politcal activists smacking the bee hive with a stick because people cant legally tell them no we dont care anymore.

so this is really easy. just let it die and no one has rights when soceity fails.

no one wanted it but your options only real options are
-let it die and let society fail and no one has rights so it doesnt matter
-make it legal to tell the garbage luxury ideology politcal activists no.

Of course! Why wouldn't I be OK with that? People posting content of themselves doing things for other people to view... No need to visit that site if I don't want to see it. That doesn't mean that I think other people shouldn't be allowed to both post and view content there.

The vagueness of it all is what bothers me.
This is clearly agenda driven. If we tolerate this, where does the line end?

If Steam bends the knee, it will drive AWAY people to other places to get the games that they want (I will not give names of alternative adult gaming sites since I don't want to give people like THEM any ideas). And ultimately, PIRACY will be the only viable option left.

when companies start having ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opinions of bans and how they cant sell their drag age veil guard slop...

you banned it. you are going out of business because
you banned it.

banned as in content users. it as in a general everything when you should be banned.

its one of those weird paradoxes where anyone supporting bans are ussaly the biggest group of people who need bans. all things have a purpose and steam was never going to comply their way out of this. if they where smart a year ago when i said they should make an eu client they would have done so. i specfically mentioned the legal problems and politcal activists.

and here we are talking about feminists from Australia and the eu and how the game is ""illegal"" this is where it starts. its not where it ends.

This.
This is the REAL motive behind all this.
Thought policing and punishing people for wrong think.

I changed the post title to put "problematic" in quotes. I don't think it the content being delisted/removed is actually a problem, but obviously, some others do.

As for people claiming this is due to feminists, stop that. Feminism is simply the belief that women should have equal rights to men and be able to exercise those rights. Yes, some people who are feminists have agendas that go way beyond that. However, this issue isn't due to feminists in general.

It is, due to the feminist group, Collective Shout.

A specific feminist group. Taking that to mean all feminists is incorrect.

I didn't say all, did I? anyways.

Glad you clarified. Unfortunately, many others stating that it is all the fault of feminists aren't quite so nuanced in their arguments.

Im lost as to why you wouldnt want that banned?
It shouldnt be governed by payment providers............but surely you wouldnt want that in a game
