Any dangers of VAC bans on Steam Family?
I want to share my steam games with someone from my family. They are a nice person, I don't think they will cheat, however I value my account a lot and I want to understand how necessarily the bans spread to nullify any chance of something bad happening to it.

I know that, if I share a VAC protected game with someone and they cheat I get VAC banned as well.
But what about if we both own it and I don't share it in Steam Family, a game such as Counter Strike 2, if they cheat would the ban negatively impact me?
If not, then is it as simple as not adding any VAC protected game to family games? Would that make me immune?

If they cheat in cs2 and got VAC banned, the ban won't spread to you or the whole family because cs2 is a free to play game. It's excluded from sharing.

As for games that use VAC and can be shared:

Only the account playing and the account that owns the copy of the game being played get banned. Those bans are attached to the accounts, not the family, and are the same as a ban received outside of a Steam Family.
