Steam Overlay Issues In Assassin's Creed Games
Has anyone else noticed issues with the Steam overlay in Assassin's Creed games?

I've been getting into the Assassin's Creed series lately and I'm noticing all kinds of issues with the Steam overlay that I don't think I usually have with other games on Steam... like when I move the mouse to move the pointer with the Steam overlay pulled up right now, I see it is also moving the pointer in the game that is "underneath" the Steam overlay. And when I click on something in the Steam overlay, it also seems to click whatever the pointer is pointing at in the game that is running "underneath" the Steam overlay.

It creates some situations with using the Steam overlay that are semi-irritating as clicking things with the overlay pulled up often seems to result in unintentional clicks in the game menus.

I'm playing Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered right now but I think it's been this way also with Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations also.

Is this a problem caused by Ubisoft forcing players to run their Ubisoft launcher/overlay with the Steam launcher/overlay? I was thinking that might be the problem because I don't think this happens with any of my other Steam games.

Did you not read other post wih Turn off GPU accelration in browser web view.

You can find post like this over last 2-3 years, even before that post.

Worst part of this, more get this issue and all blaim steam,

They also forget discord and Nvidia and other apps overlay in top of this.
its know as interference issue even in the past,

I and other will not accues steam or Nvidia or discord, ( but maybe they should start to look at it together instead of the not our problem attitude. ) its like being count in the middle and noone will deal with a gamers issue if you have all 3 apps and overlay's.

All 3 company can use the not my problem what other brand or app is doing and see how that go.

gl with it.
make support ticket at all 3 apps, dont asspect i and other will do that after 5 years maybe with it, depend on when you notice what here.

Most likely will not help but

Steam > settings > Interface > Close to the bottom toggle it off (requires restart)
