10 fps drops on a powerful PC
Hello everyone. Yesterday I updated my computer because my old one had severe drops to 10 fps. When I first started it, everything was great (220 fps in Dota), but after about 10 minutes, the drops returned. Is there a connection? It's a shame that I spent a lot of money on something that didn't measure up. My components are:
RTX 5060 TI 16 gb
RYZEN 7 5700x
BIOSTAR A520MH
DEEPCOOL PF750
16 GB of RAM (only 1 stick)
3440x1440 monitor resolution
Could you please tell me what could be the reason for the drops? The drivers are up to date.

Having 1 stick of RAM isn't a good idea. Also is the RAM running at it's supposed speed?

Right click taskbar, select Taskmanager go to "Performance tab" and click on Memory and then check bottom right at the Speed your RAM is on.
If it's around 2100 MT/s you need to open bios and turn on XMP.

I looked, the speed is 2667 MT/s, should I still go into the BIOS? And I also bought another 16 GB stick today, I'll try to install it in the evening

You need to enable XMP in BIOS like Zefar said, it's also not as important and it probably wont be an issue but you should buy RAM in pairs, buying 2 random sticks and using them together isn't the best idea.

What is the supposed speed of your RAM stick? The one listed when you bought it online. Because if it's higher than 2667 MT/s the XMP will give you a boost.

As for how to activate it. Youtube

On Ryzen it might be named A-XMP. On Intel it's just XMP.
