My window view changed completely.
I had regular options for my pc/steam view and when I change into window mode I had my screen as a rectangle. Now, i'm very much used to the rectangular shape and somehow whn I went into fullscreen today, afterwards I couldn't get my window back to a rectangle. Now it's a square. Any suggestions? It hurts my eyes looking at the square screen, it just zoomed in too much.

Perhaps you have activated "Small mode" from Steam's "View" menu.
Or maybe you activated Window's own screen zoomer called "Magnifier". Certain keystrokes may turn that on, be sure to disable keyboard activation. (Start>Control Panel>Ease of Access might be a good place to start looking)
