Reviewing family-shared games

At the moment, we can't post reviews for family-shared games. I understand — buying reviews would be too easy. But currently, reviews from keys or gifts aren't counted towards the overall score, and that works fine. So why can't family-shared reviews be treated the same way?
I spent some time writing a review, and now I see I can't even post it... I feel a bit dumb, tired, and like I wasted my time.

Ownership is required for reviews.

Valve already patched the bypass to write a review for shared games last year. Don't expect them to change their minds.

Thats the actual problem, not people who dont own the game not being able to review it.

No. You cant review family shared games because you don't own it and this can lead to malicious reviews.
