depends. would you rather have tar buildup in the lungs (which can actually be reversed with time after quitting), or trace metal buildup in your brain (which cant be)

Apparently it also causes lung damage and increases risk to cancer, so... probably not that much better.

"Better" doesn't mean "good".

"A somewhat lower chance of getting cancer" is nothing to brag about.

It's less annoying for non-smoking bystanders, so I am still glad, they exist, since some of my smoking friends switched over.

na, vaping causes different issues... especially when it's not regulated.

Just because vaping is less dangerous than smoking doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous. It’s like “is a rocket launcher more dangerous than a grenade launcher”.

yes, a rocket launcher is far more dangerous than a grenade launcher, Rocket launchers have back blast which can kill you in a confined space. on the opposite side however grenade launchers (at least US/Nato M203 style rounds) have an internal fuse that requires the grenade to fly for a set distance before coming armed. meaning if you are in a confined space under 8 feet, you will not be harmed.
