Last ate there in 2012. I remember it clearly.
Last time I went to the subway, they had wrapped torpedo sandwiches and a lot of vomit on the ground.:badluck:
Subway is not that great really. :steammocking:
I loved Subway. I would go once a week and always pick up a footlong flatbread breakfast sandwich. Ham, Egg, and Cheese. Heated extra because they never heat the eggs right. I'd get Red Onion, Green Pepper, Mayo, and Salt and Pepper. Did that for YEARS.

Then a couple weeks ago some new girl started to assemble my sandwich. The first thing I noticed was the portion was for a 6" even though I ordered a footlong. She then started assembling it along the vertical edge on the far side.

Me, having never ordered a wrap, didn't recognize her mistake while I was in the store. So I asked her what she was doing. She told me a manager told her that was how it's built. I told her, "Well I'm not paying for that." She said she could go horizontal with it, but there wouldn't be extra ingredients. I asked her, "What about all that extra bread to the side?" No response... I said I'd go somewhere else and I left.

I tried to figure out where our miscommunication was so I looked it up. They changed the flatbread to wraps. You CAN still get it as a sandwich, but apparently it's not trained or something. She was going to give me a wrap.

So my question was... why even get a 12" instead of a 6"? It's the same meat, cheese and veg just along the edge? So you're basically paying almost double to just get more flatbread.

So they lost me with the expensive bad ingredient footlongs during lunch and now I'm not going there for breakfast either.

I'm not even sure how these stores operate anymore since I was almost always the only person there.

I think they are money laundering.

I don't eat junk.
Last time I ate at one was back in 2018 or 2019, I think.
I used to until the Jared news hit.
Now I avoid it. I imagine it tastes of hipocracy these days.
American fast food are overrated, I prefer eating snacks produced by the local food industry
burger king and McD's is too expensive in Canada and subway is more food for your buck

Taco Bell is barely anything in there taco's and not filling at all

Owe I eat mostly Tim Hortons breakfast farmers wraps

Subway isn't that bad in New Zealand. The bread is freshly made and the toppings (also fresh) you get to pick yourself. Therefore if it sucks, it's due to your own selections. Otherwise it's quite yummy and semi-healthy.

Depending on the bread and sauces... etc... it's either way. So ideally you need to know what to pick from a Subway.

I don't eat much at Subway anymore, maybe 1 time a month.

The veggie delight is amazing with the southwest mayo.
