it takes a nation of haters to hold a real one back.

it takes effort to make that many haters. time. commitment. resources. just so that everyone can be held back together.

one positive personality making it in that landscape? either they'll find what's wrong with this person, what can be used to make people hate them, or they'll simply raise entire generations to hate this person solely for existing. they will flip over and do a double pirhouette because this person drew a butterfly.

it's sad and funny, sickening, and pathetic, and viewing the negativity this way is its own sad self-destructive goal.

and 50% of the people who can realize and accept this will shove pork rinds up their ass to eat. 'nothing wrong with this, this is life' they say.

That is what happens when you focus on individualism, rather than collectivism.
Modern western society is not a good place for young people and even less so if you just want to live a friendly life.

We can go two routes.

A return to a more simple world and more focus on local societies or fully embrance transhumanism, but in a collective way.

False dichotomy, both result in this current world. It's perceived as the only two routes because it's the only two this world wants to allow: two versions of more of the same.

It's slowly eroded peoples very ability to imagine anything but the world we already have.

to be honest we're going into a full collective homogeneous glob of AI, consumerism and tiktok, in 50 years i dont think there'll be anything unique about people and cultures will be a thing of the past

no they're not. people just place negatives in a dark room so the colors can become correct. the judgement only begins after that's done.

you have something different i learn that.... now i have the same...

a lot of cultures will look at other cultures to add ideas to their own culture....

yeah... things will get the same in some places.... yet still be different in others...

a photograph which has inverted colors. happens when you're taking pictures with an analog camera. not really all that common these days, unless you happen to be a professional photographer.

my levels of enjoyment are at an all time low. dunno about other people though. aside from that, well, the state of the world is kind of terrible, but i don't think about that too much. i don't think too much in general, actually. i lead a rather lethargic existence, full of molasses and cobwebs. i really ought to get my own ♥♥♥♥ sorted out before i can think about changing the world, but if i can't even do that, then what's the point?

interesting... i have a folder on my computer full of pictures with no negativity
and another folder with pictures of actors and musicians and tv people that have
given a good time over the years... and i can scroll through them and fill my head
with a really good time/s... then i have this other folder with over 10,000 youtubes
of music that makes me feel good.. i dont actually need that now as youtube seems
to be not deleting any music these days... but just in case.... i got all the good stuff...

maybe you could start with googling flowers...
