Pokemon hasn't been good since Gen 4 anyway.

I figure the logic goes something like Dragonaire has wings on its head so Dragonite should too. Dragonite being Dragonair's evolution was never reasonable in the first place though.

Unfortunately, quality and talent have no bearing on if the new Pocket Monsters will be successful. Nintendo fanatics are literally the living embodiment of fantacism. They shall buy and accept anything.

New version of Kairyu/Dragonite does look incredibly unpleasant.

Nintendo/GameFreak stagnated years ago. All they have left is the funding to allow them to drag anyone willing to challenge them down to their level.

True they gave it 110% when it came to heartgold/soulsilver and the later gens like kinda but they were always passionate about their own culture I think.

nah, give some love to gen 5 and 6. gen 5 has the most beautiful and fluid sprites in the series, and black/white 2 has by far the most end game content in the series along with gold/silver and the remakes. gen 6 has issues, but it was mainline pokemons first outing with 3d, so i am thinking much can be forgiven.

beyond 6, yes. i do think the series has gotten worse with each subsequent generation

I stopped caring about pokemon after gen 3. Guess I just grew up.
