whats the point of incredibly skilled player coming back on a server where maps that actually do require even a bit of skill are gone

Worst it has ever been, splitting up the servers was a massive mistake. The normal death run server is rarely fully populated and the parkour server is completely dead, as expected

Update: skial deathrun didn't change much at all. Couple maps added, I'm pretty sure bearun got removed (although idk when it got removed). tho the state of skial isn't that good as a whole, they removed both vsh servers after making absoloutely horrendous balance changes and design decisions, rest in piss ig

these old maps just feel, surprise-surprise, outdated. Later people cracked the formula on how to make fun DR maps with it having enjoyable parkour and balanced traps so it's both fun to bait as runners and play as hale. But now it feels like we're just back to those unavoidable instant trigger_hurt traps (not saying every old map is bad, wintervalley for example is amazing). All the fun has been drained from them, but i guess newer players haven't played as much and can enjoy these.

There are still good maps on there, but they only choose the meme maps. Ancient Memes, Gayrun, Office etc. Still surprised Office is in the rotation.

Ever since bottiger removed parkour maps the community has shifted towards a more classic deathrun experience, they only play old deathrun maps and complain about parkour maps being too hard lol

been playing on skial recently can confirm they vote for garbage

yeah someone shold make an event tab in this steam group so we really know whats when happening and on what server etc.

tbh we could also play on another non-skial server, skial also disabled sprays which ofc takes away much of the fun

just make sure to play like 1-2 hours on that account or skial will ban you instantly because they assume its an alt
