In-Game Performance Overlay Not Displaying CPU, GPU, or Memory Data
Hi there,

I'm having trouble with the in-game performance monitor. Even though I’ve enabled the settings to show the full monitoring data, only FPS appears. When I toggle the setting, the labels of CPU, GPU and RAM briefly show up (for about one second), but no values are displayed, and then they disappear with only FPS left.

I've tried quit the beta program and restart the system but it doesn't work. I'm running Windows 11 with a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU. Other monitoring tools like AIDA64 work perfectly, so it seems to be an issue specific to the in-game overlay.

Is this a known issue, or is there a fix or workaround I can try?

Thanks in advance for your help!

We rely on some Windows performance counters for some of the data in each of those, sounds like maybe it's failing on your system. You could try the steps in this MS article to ensure you haven't disabled them or don't have a corrupt performance counter registry.

The lodctr /R, and WINMGMT.EXE /RESYNCPERF steps should be safe for you to run.
and just to make sure someone doesn't get confused. Steam on Linux doesn't have that option yet where it shows the full details like ram too. on Linux steam performance overlay is limited. i hope they add the full detail option in there soon
was searching why there is no options to display those stats, turned out its for windows instead of OS, what a pity

Can you guys also check why the perf.overly size is not consistent from game too game? (One game it got "the perfect" scale, next game its MASSIVELY overscaled, yet another game cant even see the text as it is super tiny. (I play 98% of games in 4K) and desktop 225% scale)
