The Samaritan Paradox

The Book Collector, Level III currently does not unlock on Linux. Has been fixed on Windows though, so it might be possible to unlock by starting the game in Wine.

May I suggest adding Knights of Pen and Paper +1? The game works fine with no issues but the achievements don't work at all. I had to use wine to get them to work.

Thanks for the suggestion. :) It's on my list but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Do you have to play through the whole game using Wine for achievements to unlock or is it enough to load the game once using a Linux save?

Some of them popped up after loading the save but not all of them in wine. For example, it recognized that I had beat the game, but didn't give me some of the most basic achievements like leveling up to 5. So to answer your question, loading once in wine a finished game from linux will not give you all the achievements. It is best to start from wine if you are achievement hunting. If not, its a really fun game in linux.

Out There: Omega Edition currently has broken achievements.
