Look, I can put up with a janky game as long as it's fun to play. This is just extremely mid. Maybe I'll buy it again in the future, but right now it's awful.

I'm generally enjoy these types of games, I'm a huge fan of Session and other sports sims. But the controls are just awful and it's extremely janky.
For now I'd stick to Mashbox until they make some improvements, however I don't have high hopes.

Finished the demo in a little under 2 hours. Pretty cool mix of Minecraft and No Mans Sky.

While I completed the main story and enjoyed it, I can't recommend the game due to the horrible optimisation and controls. The game is plagued with performance issues and the worst controller deadzone I've ever had to deal with. I pushed through because the game itself was fun but it's let down because of the issues.

If you're playing at any resolution higher than 1080p I recommend setting it to 1080p and using Lossless Scaling to scale to your target resolution otherwise you'll have broken and flickering shadows.

A fairly short idle game, around 1 hr. Still pretty fun however.

Really useful for older games that don't play well with high resolutions.

For instance, the shadows in State of Decay 1 break when using anything higher than 1080p, and in fullscreen it's locked to 60hz. When using Lossless Scaling I can just run the game at 1080p windowed and upscale to 1440p while also getting the game to run at 144hz. Works flawlessly.

This was my first time playing anything related to Warhammer, Space Marine 2 looked interesting so I wanted to play the original first. The campaign was pretty decent around 7 hours i'd say, it did get repetitive at times but playing it in small segments helped out. The game feels a lot like Gears of War, it also runs fantastic on the Steam Deck, I locked it to 60 fps and never saw any dips.

Aside from some dated mechanics MGS2 is absolutely phenomenal.
