i really like it, it's good to play with friends

AN HONEST MAN'S REVIEW OF AN HONEST(?) GAME

Gameplay:
7/10, i liked it but there was MUCH less of the "aaa gotcha! you thought i was dead but NO, I was laying!" necromorph jumpscare with annoying features, like the map popping up constantly, requiring the layout to be changed (via options > controls > (something))

Atmosphere:
9/10 - i really liked it at times, genuinely, but the HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORIBBLE mouth-to-voice sync threw me off completely, randomly appearing and despawning necromorph bodies, stupidly low quality voice audio and the (i know, i'm getting petty) writing on the walls was sometimes just.. stupidly written, eg. a (t) looked like an (r), etc

Suits:
5/10, it's a very "meh" experience, while i understand you want MONEY through DLC (ea) i expect you to put GOOD SUITS on the DLC FOR THE SUITS.. (i'm angry there is no advanced suit...)
personally, i played with the cultist suit, but truth be told, i just feel that it made the rig look black, thus i wore it

How does it hold up to the rest of the games?

frankly? it doesn't, this game followed suite in what path ds3 paved and lost it's dead space vibe, while it has SOME of the atmosphere, if you told me this was another alien isolation game, stripped my rig, weapons (except the force gun or something) and made me play in the dark whilst hiding from a xenomorph, i'd assume it's an Alien game -- just because the location is the same doesn't mean it IS the same

The price:
it is NOT worth the price, i only bought it on sale and yet i still debate whether it was worth it.

The DLC:
100% do NOT pay for it, it is not worth the price for 5 suits..
Also, Don't use a so-called 'Creaminstaller' app, because that would add you the DLC without paying for it and you wouldn't be supporting EA and its shareholders due to the nature of this. ?(illegal)

1. I can do EXACTLY what this game gives via anomaly,
1a. Sure, my graphics won't be as top-notch, but who gives a damn? The gameplay is on the table and the controls are your utensils.
1b. This game plays like a hot, steaming pile of garbage.

2. We will not forget how you promised Multiplayer. Give us our money back, ya commies.

it's a buggy mess, sometimes it lets me play, the other it crashes my pc and the entire game when it throws a tantrum

just do -dx11 in the launch options if it crashes, fixed it for me

Good game - Hard recommend keyboard controls as mouse flight is as janky as a thai "woman"

Flight : 9/10 (If there was a way to toggle freelook, would be a 10)
Models: 10/10
Dialog: 5/10 (shut up woman)
combat: 10/10 (always room to improvise)
weaponry: 7/10 (Restrictive, yet fun to improvise and use what you have on you)

Overall: 8/10 , Not exactly worth the huge cost but it's a real keeper

I got this game, did the marine campaign on hardcore.
Now I love the marine corp.
