Durability mechanics are annoying at best. There are better ways to achieve the same goal here. I do not want to be punished for experimenting and learning a moveset.

Edit for hotfix 1:
Better, but if your goal is to make durability trivial... why have it? There are other, better ways to punish a death.

Very fun game with minimal issues aside from the current login issues.

I would wait until the servers are stable to start playing, but once you're in, it's an absolutely fantastic game.

My biggest gripe with it before launch was the whole "die and you lose everything" but after getting raided, I found that wasn't really the case. It's difficult to completely kill someone, and walkers are VERY durable. Sure, all your loot might be gone, but anything you had in your walker is safe. Pick a cradle that's empty to start in and you're good to go.

The way they fixed the whole issue of Rust where you could camp in a zone and just take it over completely is solved by the decay mechanic. Zones decay eventually and you have to move on to find another one before you're wiped out.

TL;DR: super fun game with great mechanics, don't listen to everyone whining about "MUH SERVERS", it's a small dev team that has been up all night working on the issue. Give 'em a break.

Don't buy this game, I haven't seen my family in a month... Every time I look outside I can only think about optimizing iron production... help.

Oh, this game... I completely forgot about this one...
Anyway, i'll just start off by saying that I started playing this basically the year it came out. It advertised itself as a fun little shooter game where you could build your own unique robot to fight with other people's bots. I was instantly hooked into the game, as it's progression system was amazing, and gave you something to build up to. As soon as I could, I unlocked planes, built myself one, and started flying it around. I LOVED doing that, I enjoyed every aspect of flying around and shooting at people on the ground, even if it meant getting shot at myself.
The tiering system was very unique to the game, and I really found myself wanting that next tier up. The cubes and such would upgrade with the tier you were in. I managed to get to a really high tier, and I upgraded my robot to have the best armor cubes. (back then, the armor cubes were tiered as well) Then, one day, they decided to do away with the armor tiered cubes, and they removed them. I got a few credits back, but not enough to do anything of interest with, and I hated that, because I had spent TONS of money on those cubes.
I feel like instead of making this a good game as it should have been, FreeJam just decides to do whatever with the game and not listen to the people on suggestions that would have been good; they just took the ideas that were terrible and made them worse. Someone posted a good story here that I remember pretty well, it was about a boy who would climb up a rock in a lake to find an enjoyable view at the top, however people noticed the boy, and started wondering how he got up there. The people would complain about not being able to get up there, so the people in charge of the buisiness at the lake came along and made the rock half the size. People still complained about how difficult it was to get up there, so they made a ladder. The boy, seeing as his rock was now just a shadow of it's former self, left in search of another 'rock.'
I think that this may be the most accurate depiction of what happened to this once wonderful game.

I really loved the concept of this game, 'infinite universe, each planet is different, every ecosystem is different,' but when I finnaly got it after waiting almost 2 years, I was severely dissapointed, they said there was going to be so much more than there really is, and 'technicaly' they got some of it right, but they left the other 98% out. It's like a golden car that can't drive.

Amazing game, a must-get for sandbox players and all others wanting a taste of destruction, and a survival game. They combine war, survival, and destruction into the same game, soon they will be adding planets with their own ecosystems!
