Always loved games & simulators about the sea so seen this one and was gifted to me on my birthday on same day as release. I have Never sailed before in real life or no any thing about it since the past games I played that based in water are Silent Hunter series and some ship simulators, So soon as I seen the 30ft sail boat and all the ropes I was completely lost & mind blowing on how complicated it all is. Messed around the first 30-40 mins getting the hang of the U.I and the way the Controls work, after that jumped into the tutorial all 7 of them I did repeat them twice since there was so much to take in,
everything thing from welcome lesson how to plan your trip all the way to Names of sails , Names of the ropes to about different types of winds. As am wiring this review I am on my way to Dover from my home port of Newcastle

Tutorial
Very good Tutorial just a simple read and click next and review after reading all the tutorials I now use Advanced Sail mode where the Sim lets me use everything on the boat but also still helps me out time to time with tips

FPS & Game Stable
The game it self is very stable Had one or two crashes so far, Very high FPS for me when then Game in on window mode no V-Sync so my FPS tops out around 115-125 ( Specs Below ) When the game is Full screen V-Sync is on. I would think that the Dev will add soon a Option to turn of and on for V-Sync along with window / fullscreen / Fullscreen Border

Weather & Water ( Waves )
For me since the games runs online it uses National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or (NOAA) for all weather and wave data I did compare the winds and waves when I was on the game with ( www.windy.com ) and was the same as in reported area I was sailing in. For me this is a big cool feature. Since am a big Simmer I use P3D ( a Flight Simulator ) along with Active Sky 2016 for my weather and having real life & live weather makes it so much better.

Online Feature
I love the fact how you can run a Multi Crew on the sail boat and also meet up with other people in the game world to sail with,
Since the game runs online say for (E.g) you set off from San Francisco for Hawaii and say you travel at average of 14kt going to take almost 2 weeks to get there so good thing about the online server is, That while you sleep the boat can still sail on auto and it sail you set waypoints ( Can be turned off it you want to stop when you log off )

World Size & Where Can I Go
The game is not limited in anyway, you can go anywhere there is water & also if its not too shallow, you can go where ever you'd like to go. The World is also 1:1 Scale

Noob / I just want to Sail the Boat
If you just want to dive the boat or just go some where with out the hassle of doing any thing, Well you can just pop in to the settings and set Auto and the game does all the Sail trim for you and all you have to do is use the rudder to go where you like

Con's

U.I
Not all of the U.I is bad only the way the maps works can be hard for first time user to use the map since the waypoint system is a little weird to use, for (E.g) when you plan your route if its around a Island you dont want to runagorund you need to set waypoints between Depart and Arrival for some reason the way point can only be set at the start if the Route and then you be able to add waypoint 1 ,2 , 3 Ect. So can be a bit mad at first. The way the mouse works for viewing is weird its inverted so up=down right=left when you move the mouse to move to look around, there is no option AT THIS TIME to turn this off or to make your own settings

Not many settings at the moment only a slider for Min to Max Settings and screen rev Setting
The Land Textures at the moment are just very very plane but Dev as it set in the roadmap that they are going to be improved
not a big thing for me at the moment as not here to see cites am here to Sail and that what the game good at.

Yes I would Very nice looking game and Super In-depth Simulation ( If you know what PMDG is ) This is the PMDG of Sailing on PC, and not to hard to pick up since in built Tutorials give lots of information.
