Additional; on Intel, two sticks always performs better, with DDR5 2 sticks are recommended too.. Using 4x16GB sticks, even at 3600, you're once again nuking some performance and increasing bank and column latency, as well as noise!

Wrong, its more than a few FPS xD up to 35% higher in base and reduces 1% and 0.1% lows for a start ;) Isn't far off half, i was surprised myself when i switched to DDR5, but is worth it, especially now you can get way faster than mine for a lot less money! I dare say its cheap now, makes my kit look slow and i've only had it a couple of years. It is definitely worth the upgrade, especially if you're above 12th Gen, that's just a lot of lost performance. Even increases speed for ReBAR, DirectStorage, transfers, paging..

It is true that my DDR4 setup is withholding my CPU's full potentional, but not in a way that it would literally withhold "half" of it. Gaming on DDR5 compared to DDR4 would just enable a few extra FPS and in my eyes, at least as of right now, not really worth the upgrade.
