I was excited when I initially saw this; I love the Stargate franchise and would love for it to have a successful game and gain more traction. However, I can't recommend this game at this time. I haven't played beyond the first mission and though I'd like to in order to have a much fuller impression of it I also really don't know that I will have the drive. There are already some really great, detailed reviews of this game so I won't really repeat too much of that. I'll just say that, for me, one of the biggest drawbacks is the writing/script on top of the other game-related drawbacks. I could cope with those things easier if the writing wasn't so bad. It's not even the premise of the story so far, but even the little things like how the characters refer to their weapons does not feel natural or convince me that this is a Stargate game.

I love this franchise and while I haven't put much time into this game yet, I do think it does a great job at delivering the feel of an Alien story and keeping the suspense up. I hope to put more time into it soon but at the moment I do recommend it. I think it's got interesting gameplay and I like the story so far.

This really is a great tool. Not only can you grab a game or asset from the Steam Workshop to use in the program but you can create your own games, assets and gaming environments to play in! The developers are constantly updating it and adding new features and it has been that way since early access. It is definitely something I always keep installed and am constantly coming back to!
