The story is vibrant, very involving, and actually get you invested into the characters. the music is hauntingly flawless, and it fits so perfect with the story. the only issue with the combat is that its a bit repetitive, but this is a combo-fighter game, of course its a little repetitive. but i can take that in a game like this because everything else is amazingly well done. that and its not all just "fight this guy, next area, heres a door hit a button, open, fight guys..." ect. some of the areas are right puzzles. theres one late in the game, where you have to figure out the code from a riddle! (that one stumped me). all in all, i would give this a 9.7/10. -0.1 for slightly repetitive combat, -0.1 for not being able to truly customize your combos(each piece of the combo is specific to a key, eg. 2nd combo is (xbox controller) Y-X-Y-X-Y) i wished i could fully customize them, say, X-X-X-Y-X-Y, and -0.1 because it feels like it should be open world (like the assassins creed series) , but it isnt.

ps. i heard #2 will be open world, tho i cant confirm it at all.

is the story good? yes.
is the music good? unbelievably so.
is the combat good? for the most part, yes, you have to learn, there's no button mashing here.
is it one of the greatest games ever? no....but its sooooo very close to being.

pps. i played the crap out of this on my friends xbox, and just got it today on steam, hence the so few hours on. ive beaten this 6 times already, once on the hardest difficulty (memory hunter), so i speak with experience.

I am addicted! Got it two days ago and i cant stop playing... Sound is amazing: the creature sounds are completely immersive, and the soundtrack fits perfectly; the graphics are beautiful, the game mechanics are incredibly smooth for an early access, and the few bugs it does have are little more than mild annoyances. since it is a early access, it does lack content, but what is in the game so far is more than enough to keep you occupied for days. no real storyline other than the intro, but story is nothing compared to its "immersiveness" (Not sure if that's even a word, but it fits). all in all, i give it 8.5/10. more content, story, and to fix the little bugs (like not being able to rotate ladders) are needed to top it at a 10. still, undoubtedly one of the best and coolest games Ive played....

Awesome idea for a game. is a must buy.... when its complete. 15 times i finally got armored up, guns, gear, everything needed to survive in a high-population sercer, and 15 times my character has been reset. ive had enough, and i refuse to play this game until the resets have stopped. dont buy until its completed.

the kicker is, i have a friend whos character hasnt been reset in 2 1/2 months, and he uses Hax, which btw is cheating, meanwhile i play legit and keep getting reset. are you telling me the only way not to get reset is to cheat? if these resets keep happening i might have to. the fun in this game isnt scrambling to find all your stuff before you die, for me its after youre geared up, and you now have to survive the zombies and other players. this game isnt fun when i cant loot anything because i have no weapons to defend myself with because the game keeps resetting me.

spawn-find a little gear-zombie attacks-shovel/axe/knife does no damage-i die-respawn-repeat.

i have 20 friends who play this, and im the only one who gets reset. bull****

Amazing game, in depth, insanely fun, and 300% better than Minecraft and KSP combined. not just a block builder, the actual "blocks" are only 8 out of the near 100 peices you can use to construct your craft.

How good is it?
I have owned the game for 9 days. I have logged 80 hours on it in those 9 days.

80 hours divided by 24 hours in a day= 3.33 days out of the 9 i have spent playing this game...

Amazing game, well thought out, works on even factory computers with no video card upgrades, and with all the mods on KerbalSpaceport.com, the possibilities are endless. Build, Fly, Dream. Then build a base on another planet and do it all over again!
