I've had this stance since the game's release.
Paid characters in a competitive game is one of the most atrocious decisions you could possibly make. Also not being able to re-join a co-op mission if you crash in the middle of it is an absolute oversight that they've YET to fix since the Halloween event.

It sucks not being able to enjoy a game you really like because of constant crashing.

Quite literally the most fun I've had playing a turn-based game.

Haven't been able to play much of it, but Rise is a clear improvement on the gameplay style of World, solid recommend on that alone.

Very rough start, looks abhorrent at low settings and runs poorly. So poorly at times that it seriously impacts and otherwise very fun game. No private matchmaking is also a huge deal breaker, like seriously what co-op game doesn't have that day one in the current year? Haven't personally experienced any crashes thus far, but I can only imagine what so many others are experiencing alongside the already terrible optimization.
If things don't improve before "launch" (the game is basically out already) then I'll be issuing a refund and won't look back.
