Darkest Dungeon has been one of the most challenging and difficult games I have come to play. Every crit against my team, every affliction faced, every hero lost, has all impacted me both as a player and as a person. Despite the great difficulties, Darkest Dungeon has made it's way into my heart and claimed it's spot as my favorite in all it's eldritch glory. Both the encouraging narration of Wayne June and the beautifully orchestrated soundtrack from Stuart Chatwood encases the player in such a surreal and amazing setting. I happily await Darkest Dungeon's sequel and to spend even more time playing it than I have with the current game. Thank you Red Hook studios.
