One of the most un-fun, tedious game I've played in recent memory.
It might have some things going for it, like graphics and animation; the gameplay on the other hand is just boring and most times frustrating.

A great remastered. If you missed this game growing up; or you were too young to experience it, this edition is definitely worth it.

Strike. The. Earth!

While magic in itself is a fun game, the economy is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and predatory.
I would not recommend it unless you're prepared to suffer through months of grinding just to be able to build a deck that will be competitive (possibly) for a few months.

Edit: I've tried getting back into it again. It's worse than described above. The economy is so set up so that you need to win games to get your daily gold. The catch is good luck doing that with no cards, unless you play hours on hours.
Would be cool if you could get a lot of games in in those number of hours, but the game is so slow, players so toxic that sometimes by the 2 hour mark when you're 2-3 wins in you ask yourself why are you such a masochist.

Additional edit: out of all the games in the world. This is the stupidest there is.

Great game, great developers, great community.

A good idea packed in a satchel of manure. The end boss is the most tedious gaming experience I've had this year.
I'd honestly refund this if I would be able to.

A different kind of RPG. If Planescape Torment was something you enjoyed. Disco Elysium is definitely for you.

This is the first CK I've played. So far the learning curve was too steep, but that's somewhat sorted in this release. Instead of spending 200 hours of not knowing what the f you're doing, you spend like 50.
And then you keep on losing as the game's not easy.

Can't recommend this game. Clunky, grindy, sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the only nice thing about it is the level design. Mediocre overall. For anybody expecting a dark souls experience, this is not it.

Edited: I played some more. Still can't recommend it. The more you go into the game the more mediocre it gets. From running back to bosses with corridors of unskippable mobs, to the bosses 2 hit killing you with the latest upgrades. It just oozes artificial difficulty and doesn't make for a fun experience. Even when you down a boss, there's no sense of achievement; just a dread of the grinder to come.

It always amazes me how one man can create such a good game.
