I bought this awhile ago and enjoyed it but never got more into it due to life.
Heard they were going to take out a lot of content due to the console release. While this game is pretty good, but being a SWAT game is not some sort of moat that other game developers can't achieve. I will no longer support VOID Interactive for their grossly anti consumer practices.

Need optimization is my only complaint.
First time playing this game and it's great. Highly recommend if you never got to play this game

Early Access Review
The game is currently quite barebones. While its popularity suggests it can weather early growing pains, essential features and optimizations are still lacking. For those drawn to the building aspect, the current system is frustratingly limited.

Wall heights can't be mixed—you're restricted to one height per structure, which stifles creative layouts. You also can’t stack windows vertically, limiting design possibilities. Compared to The Sims, which offers console commands for more complex builds, this feels overly constrained. The developers should seriously consider lifting these restrictions to support more flexible building.

The character creator also feels narrow in scope. Models seem heavily biased toward feminine, Korean-inspired features. I’ve had a hard time creating believable male characters, whereas recreating my wife was much easier—possibly due to the limited presets or body types available.

I haven’t touched the main game mode yet, mainly due to noticeable performance issues. My advice: check back in 6 months. I’m keeping the game to follow its progress, but in its current state, I don’t recommend it for anyone primarily interested in building.

I would say no.
Only becauase Elite Dangerous exists. While this game has interesting concepts and the need to take care of your truck is a cool feature. However, when you compare to Elite, this game is just lack luster.

really like this game—definitely a step forward. That said, I think they need to add options for fuel management, gears, and other mechanics for the people complaining. At the end of the day, Saber Interactive has the stats on how people play, whether through in-game tracking or Steam. Most players buy the game, mess around for a bit, and then move on.

I get why Saber is simplifying things, and honestly, I respect it. But they also need to give something to the players who want that deeper, more sim-like experience. Some people want full realism, others just want the "essence" of it—and that’s exactly what Saber is going for here.

That said, the downvotes—while valid—aren’t doing any favors for people who just want to jump in and enjoy the game. Yeah, it’s a slow game, but compared to SnowRunner or Spintires, the pace is way faster. That's pretty big for people who have a job.

Failed sequel attempting to go a new way but didn't commit. Mass Effect 1-3 was a product of it's limitations. Making an RPG with branching stories and choices that effect the end is a complex task for the size of team and time they had. It really was poorly done and this game deserved better.
The writers were also a downgrade in this game too.

I was obsessed about this port for about a decade now. I remember when I had got my first gaming computer. I had no possible notion that a Rockstar game would not be available on the PC. Every year I would research this game in hopes that Rockstar would release this game onto PC. I don't remember when I gave up hope, but I had concluded that it was done for us RDR1 fans.

Thankfully, we got this surprise and we can finally enjoy this game and the way it was suppose to be enjoyed.

This is really dang good. I actually made my room and I am able to design it to my hearts content and then do it in real life.
I randomly found this, so I sort of feel bad buying this on sale.
