The actual core gameplay here is actually really fun and i quite like it. However, the things that surround the gameplay are subpar. Heres a quick and dirty List of the current Problems:


- The Button Layout this game uses on arcade stick is arthritis inducing. There are 8 unique buttons and 7 of which you need to bind. No matter how you configure it you will never get a layout that's comfortable on anything but pad. please for the love of God add motion inputs as this would solve the issue entirely

- The netcode is abysmal, don't but this until it's fixed

- The price tag is way too high, with the amount of content and polish it has it should be 40 bucks TOPS

- Singplayer modes are lacking but I don't have a strong opinion on them because I barely do singleplayer in any fighting game. It worth being up though for those buying this just for the offline modes

- Combo trials are kind of lacking, rather than teaching you basic bnbs to build off of they throw you into the deep end immediately and ask you to figure out a combo that does the requisite amount of damage yourself.

- Music and stages are really bland, I wish there was a greater variety

This game could be good with some more time in the oven, I'd check back in a couple months to see if they fix it if you are on the fence

While the technical bugs with v1.5 have been fixed. The larger issues of the butchered story and more predatory monitozation are still in the game. It doesn't seem like infold intend to fix those problems so I can't recommend you play this.

I regret not buying this game directly from steam because I'd get a refund if I could.
