I really wanted to give this a positive review, I really did, but with the lack of care that CA seems to have for this game, as in they do not want to fix the buggy mess this was since its release, as well as the humongous hike in prices it makes it very difficult to actually justify purchasing any more content if the publisher is not willing to fix the issues with the base game in the first place. This is very sad, because you can see that the actual devs put a lot of heart and soul into their work.

Having been a Total War fan for more than a decade now, I am sad to see the state in which the greed of the executives has thwarted this once-great studio, as I have supported TW: Warhammer since its inception. I've bought all of its DLC, since the content it delivered before was very good for its price, but this recent 150% increase on what before cost only $10 USD or equivalent is a slap in the face for those of us who are passionate about this series, and the very tone-deaf responses (or lack thereof) of the PR team make it very frustrating to even try to play this game without them addressing the concerns of the community and just trying to pump more priced content. I might change my review in the future, but given what I've seen so far from the CA team it seems unlikely.

Got this because I had the physical Gold Edition, lent it to an uncle and he scratched the CD. Solid core gameplay that even today stands, good graphics for its age and if you get bored you can always spawn LAZUR BEARS! 10/10 would try to save Atlantis again (already am).

I like this game, but I cannot completely love it, as after a few hours, when your colony is completely self-sufficient, it gets boring. It would be nice if the developers allowed for mods for new classes of colonists and robots, as well as more rooms. If you like Banished, you will like this game, just don't expect it to entrap you for more than a few hours.
