As someone who loves the first game, I would say this is a good second game! It is not the best, but still has potential to be as good as the first game.
I know there is not as much content/items than the first one, but this game just came out. I think it is a good start and cant wait for more to be added to it.

I played during launch and now with the major update.
The amount of bugs they fixed is amazing. Yes, there still are bugs, but that is what you should expect from any game, especially being in Early Access.
Yes, there is quiet a grind near the end game, but that is to be expected. The new zone only allowing ground mounts is the best idea since it makes the whole island massive. With so much to explore and catch all new pals!

With people complaining about pals starving/getting stuck/depressed... You clearly have no idea how to maintain the base. My 3 bases have no issues, besides maybe one pal in each base getting upset. You can buy medicine for the pals and just set up a medicine shelf for them so they will heal themselves while you are not online. Gold is a joke in the game, but allows you to buy things such a bones/pal fluid, things that take a lot of grinding for.

Would recommend giving it a try!

Best $3 to spend 3 hours to finish. It is very cute, sweet, and simple! Cant wait to see more games from this developer!

While I never played it in the past, I feel like it is a good game for the cost. The idea of no micro transactions is one of the best things ever. Since there are games that you pay $20 for and they are littered with micro transactions for everything. Just play the game, every level of your account (for the most part), you get a free hero pass. By level 10 you should have most of the heroes unlocked.
There are still a lot of bugs and fixes that need to be worked on, yes, but just enjoy the game.

It is the idea that this game is 5 to 6 years old really shows, from the 'grade' (which needs to be removed or reworked) to the small balance changes.

I am just hoping they improve the game overall and focus on making the game better and bring it into current era of gaming.

Game is still one of the best free to play mmo(lite). You never have to spend money, unless they give you a coupon, then you have to.
Devs love this game, for it being 10 Years old, it still gets updated regularly with content that is not boring at all.
Like all FTP games, there is lots of grinding but honestly, to me, it does not feel like grinding. my little brain goes brrrrrrrrrrr when playing.

Very fun game! Once you understand how to hit people it becomes a lot easier. I wish there was some crowd control cd, since getting chain stunned it not always fun.
Fun to play together with friends! Or if you are like me, and your friends get extremely mad at the game because they are bad, just play solo. Still a lot of fun! ≽^•⩊•^≼
