Estranged is a mod based on the Source Engine. It tells its own story, which is not related to the HL2 universe.
Basically you are stranded on an island and want to leave again, but there is a disturbing signal preventing you from reaching the mainland.
While the mod doesn't last long, it's very entertaining. And there is even more on the horizon... this is only Act 1 out of 3!

9/10 would translate again

"One of the greatest games ever made."
That's what I said about Vice City and that's also what I think about San Andreas.

The game is set in the nineties in a fictional state called San Andreas. You play the role of Carl Johnson (CJ), who has been living in Liberty City. But then he got a phone call. His mom was killed by a drive-by. He rushes home to Los Santos to do honour to his mother. Back at home he has to put in work for his hood. A cycle of violence begins: drugs, gang wars, corrupt police... Welcome to Los Santos!

What GTA San Andreas delivers is classical GTA gameplay with many improvments:
- the huge world with 3 different cities, smaller towns and varying environments like desert, farmland, forests, hills
- an amazing shooting and movment system compared to Vice City
You can duck, swim, dive, climb on rooftops etc. Which gives you a new feeling of freedom
- there is even a bigger variety of vehicles: bikes, bicycles, sport cars, SUVs, pick-ups, boats, helicopters and planes!
- customisation: tattoos, clothes, hairstyle, tuning cars
- RPG elements: you have to eat, you can level up skills
- many details and mini-games: robbery, basketball, video games, billard etc.
- amazing music: especially rap music (nwa, 2pac, ice cube, eazy-e), but probably not as good as Vice City's music

The story of GTA SA is okay, but sometimes confusing and hard to follow. I also think that parts of it are a bit over the top. However Rockstar Games did a good job connecting the story of Vice City, San Andreas and GTA 3. They also did a good job with the characters.
Some of the missions are a bit annoying, but overall the missions are very good. I really like the addition of stealth in some of the missions.
Rockstar added a lot of details and mini-games, which often made me wonder: "Wtf? You can really break into a house and steal TVs? This game is amazing!" I love such moments.
What I also really liked was the hood part of the game. Getting green shirt, rag and shoes, spray a car in green, call your homies to join you, drive through other gang areas, provoke a gang war... even if the KI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and could have been improved. Of course it's a matter of taste and actually not the whole game is about the hood life.

Conclusion:
GTA San Andreas offers so much content, that everyone will get countless hours of fun out of it.
If you haven't played it yet, go get it now or you'll miss a part of video game history!

Improves upon the classic Assassin's Creed gameplay. Good story, large map with different locations and lots of sidemissions. I also like the RPG elements like buying weapons or armor.
It is not as repetetive as the first game, but it has some flaws. For example the fight system is fun, but it's still too easy. I should also mention, that this game uses Uplay. It can be annoying if uplay updates otherwise you hardly notice it.
All in all you can have a lot of fun in this game, but if you look for a challenge you'll be disappointed.

You suffered shipwreck and stranded on an island. You see bodys of other shipwrecked persons. Are they alive? A woman is. Where are you and are there other people on this island? You need to explore this island. You'll walk through the dangerous forest up hills and eventually find a recourse, but this is only the beginning. You will find a whole island to explore with different factions and with choices to be made.

This game is alot like Gothic, because it is from the same developer. It doesn't quite reach the Level of Gothic 1 or 2, but it's still very good. Only the end gets a bit repetitive as you have to visit several temples.

How do I start with this one?
GTA 3 was ground braking and Rockstar improved upon that. The result? One of the greatest games ever made.
Bigger map, more cars, you need boats more often. They added bikes and helicopters. You can buy property. There are tons of sidemission and other stuff to collect.
The best thing about this game is still the flair. It's outstanding. The story and the characters are cool (and crazy) and the music...
The music is amazing, brilliant, astonishing, awesome, amazing etc.!!!!

Good game.
What makes this game amazing, is not really the gameplay, but the atmosphere.
The atmosphere, the setting and the story are really good. Oh and the soundtrack is pretty good too.
Probably the greatest thing about this game is that it makes you sometimes think of humanity. Very few games do that.

GTA II was already fun, but GTA III took the franchise to a whole new dimension (literally). At its time it was ground breaking: an open realistic world, fantastic sound track and voice acting, cool characters and endless possibilites.
You could just drive through the city listening to music, do crazy stunts, kill cops or play as a cop/ taxi driver etc. The only bad points are some clipping errors and the mediocre shooting system.
Even to this day the game is very enjoyable if you don't mind dated graphics.

Hard to learn and sometimes frustrating, but it can also be alot of fun. The start is very hard, but you'll start learning and the game will become very entertaining and addictive. It's well balanced, very polished and will be updated for years just like TF2.
Dota 2 will be soon free to play for everyone and hands down: Dota 2 has the best f2p model I've ever seen.
So what's more to say? Hundred of hours for free!!! (How does this work? You don't have to pay anything, this game is not pay to win, but if you think: "Man, this game is awesome. I've spent several hundred hours playing this." Then you should support this game and buy something from the shop.)
Oh and I heard the german translations are good too...

Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a reverse tower defense game. What does that mean? Well, you aren't defending, but you play as attacker. You can build a squad with up to 6 vehicles. Later in the game you also have 6 different types of vehicles you can choose from. The defender also have different towers (normal, aoe etc.) and you can set different routes so that you can avoid certain areas (with many towers). You can also control a commander and he's incredible important as he can repair you vehicles, throw smoke or decoy grenades and even nuke towers. Even after the story mode (4-5 hours long) you can still play some challenging levels.
tl,dr: I can recommend this game.
