The dev of this game would rather CEOs and shareholders make a few extra thousand on their millions than help keep gaming alive as an art and not an industrial process.

He is a grifter, scalping gaming "culture" for your time and money, and uses a vocal tone and manipulative word choice to make you interpret him as having more credit and ground to speak on than he does.

Working at Blizzard, a problem character in this whole issue, and "developing" an eternally early access game does not make you a Developer. Taking care of rescue ferrets is very kind, but it doesn't give you any gaming "industry" credibility. It might sound silly or cringe, but you are not a real gamer.
