got it for free as owner of the "classic" Mafia 2
Similar to the classic version, also definitive edition runs flawlessly on Linux using proton standard settings, no tinkering needed

To the game: Great game, one of my favourites ever. Different time periods and the first one during winter, fabolous! - you will find better reviews explaining the game :-)
I dislike the collection stuff and the DLC are of much lower quality. I completed them in the classic version for achievement collection, but don't bother to do it again. Thus, I consider the game completed
Similar to Mafia 1 (classic), probably I won't replay the definitive edition and stick to the classic version

Played through the original Mafia from when it was released 2002 until today multiple times, one of my favourites of all time but sometimes very difficult game.
The Remaster almost lives up to the original and takes away some of the difficult moments, replacing it with some others :-)
Technical: Playing with Proton on Manjaro Gnome, I had to follow this protondb report: https://www.protondb.com/app/1030840#pQnH9z74DS
Other than that, game run just perfect start to End.

One funny thing I remember, not sure if this is related to running the game with Proton or something else
In the race mission during returning the tinkered car to the race track short before leaving the city there is a police car flying towards me from somewhere crashing on the road. It looks like it's thrown towards me from the sky. That actually happened both times I played this mission in the same location.

Anno 2070, still sort of Anno gameplay but somehow not motivating enough to keep going beyond the campaign, which I completed but forgot about it.
But the biggest issue is that ubisoft connect thing - a big No.

Great Experience even after all those years. Runs native on Linux and performance is no issue
I liked the puzzles and the levels as well as the plot. Well Done Gearbox

After years, I played MP1 once again, now followed by MP2. Using Proton on Linux makes it work out of the box, no tinkering or any Win10 patch required. Game runs as native, widescreen supported!
As a game itself still awesome even though less intense story compared to the first one.
Still I liked the changes to the bullet time, and the settings of each level except those levels where you have to protect some one else. That's happening only a few times luckily.

After years, I played MP1 once again. Using Proton on Linux makes it work out of the box, but I recommend to use the MP1-Fixpack v1.2021.1 for same enhancements as for Windows, but this is not linux related. Game runs as native!
As a game itself still awesome, love it for every level except those maze levels in between Chapter 2 and 3

Stanley is back, confusing as always and a great experience, even though I would not call it a game
Runs native on Linux, thanks Crows Crows Crows

Playing this for years now, with more years (and regions) to come... runs perfect on Linux using a steering wheel as well
Updated for Steam Award badge. No further comment needed :-)

Half-Life modernisiert und poliert. Das lange warten hat sich gelohnt.
