Very few games have been able to scratch that lizard brain itch that keeps me coming back day after day. This is a good game with a lot to offer new and returning players. I love the emergent experiences of a last stand on a rocky hellscape or chaotic firefight in the jungle. There’s something special about it for me.

yes its buggy, but if you're like me and have countless hours in other buggy game it won't bother you too much. all bugs i've encountered could be solved with a reload. theres obviously some visual think and quirking bugs that are honestly funnier than anything. but if you can get past the bugs theres an absolute masterpiece hidden underneath. cyberpunk is easily my favorite game of 2020, it scratched an itch i've had since finishing kotor. as far as rpg's go this should go down as one of the greats, up there and possibly surpassing the mass effect games. i'm loving it and i cannot wait to see where it goes from here.

The pirate base song is a blatant ripoff of the battle of endor theme from ep. VI. just in case anyone wanted to know.

reminds me of far cry but not as good. Driving is stiff and boring, with very little range of motion for your arms, which is funny to see. prone is completely broken for me, doesn't work at all. enemies somehow detect my silent kills instantaneously and then (also instantaneously) alert all the guards within a kilometer radius. ??? also the game now includes a weird platforming element, again, stiff and boring, seems very out of place. its also worth noting that I get around 75 to 85 fps while driving and in combat. I saw a lot of optimization complaints, could be optimized for AMD hardware so keep that in mind. I don't know, I'm probably not going to get it when there are better options already available and Ghost Recon Wildlands coming out soon???!!!! whaaaaaat

Paid for dlc that ended up being twice the worth of the game. Still worth it. I can always eat next week.

Listen I'll be the first to say that this is a flawed game. It's definitely not perfect. But damn does it scratch that terminator-Esque itch. I'd really been looking for a game that has me crawling around a war torn city fighting robots and scavenging for supplies. Revolution fills most of that void. Also coop is pretty kickass once everybody gets into the groove. The weapon customization is pretty neat too, initially there's only a few weapons, maybe 5? But the upgrades you can attach turn them into 3. for instance, the pistol can be converted into a sub machine gun or a silenced welrod sort of deal. It effectively becomes its own arsenal in just one weapon. Each weapon works in the same way, the m4 turns into a saw-like lmg (its 7.62 though wooop), and a grenade launcher. And the battle rifle has some other marksmen variants. All weapon customization can also be done on the fly, identical to crysis.

Ok so problems, well bugs for one. It's pretty damn buggy, not to many game-breaking glitches or anything but still a ton for a triple a title. I also heard a lot of complaining in regards to optimization. In my experience the game ran with little issue at near ultra (or whatever homefront's equivalent is) high of 75fps and very rarely dropped to under 45. But I can see how people can have issues if their pc isn't beefy enough. It's definitely not arma level of unoptimization so that's something. The characters and story were pretty bland too, I never really felt attached to anyone, even the dude from the beginning (not trying to spoil anything). But it was still enough to keep me invested.

Look the game's a good time, not perfect but fun. Under $20 would be a pretty good deal.
