Early Access Review
You would have to tweak the compatibility setting a little bit if you want to play it on the Steam Deck.

This old open source game has aged really well and come a long ways. This feels like how a Mario game should be, and you get to play one of the cutest looking cartoon characters in existence complete with a white soft potbelly. I mean, he's my favorite of the cartoon penguins.

As I adore Diddy Kong as much as Tux, I would say SuperTux has even come close to rivaling the charm of Donkey Kong Country, as it has potential for such.

I recommend Relic Entertainment to look at this and compete with it in a Company of Heroes expansion or sequel. I'm a big fan of strategy games and simulators and found very few games set in World War 2 that are of any strategy game subsidiary. This game covers what Company of Heroes does not: naval combat. Gameplay wise, it reminds me a whole lot of Empire: Total War's naval battles, except the technology featured in this game was a whole lot more advanced and not classic wooden galleon style Age of Sail stuff.

There is much to be expected in both this game and Company of Heroes, but what we have now in this game is the best I could find on Steam.

Pros
Ultra customary battles
3-4 Teams on a Single Battle
Chaos forcing good use of cavalry on open field
Inspiring for writing historical fantasy
Get to seriously alter history around poor Ezio and Altair (Courtesy of Ubisoft)

Cons
Needs more "KHAAAAAAAANNNNN!"

Build all kinds of roads...

No constant frequent restarting after mismanaging your extremely limited space, thanks EA!

Can have two one-way roads go absolutely nowhere

Easily forgives mistakes unlike SimCity.

Although SimCity got me into the cyberpunk genre for very peculiar reasons, such as LawDrones putting chips into people's brains or ControlNet running everything including massive MegaTowers.

Can build replicas of actual cities or utopian cities better than SimCity.

Runs smoother and gives you options of micromanaging what real mayors would micromanage, rather than actually owning businesses like building computers.

From the Star Fox fans of Nintendo...

Crimson Skies, Starlancer, and Halo fans of Microsoft...

and Starhawk fans of Sony

...to the fans of Homeworld by Relic Entertainment,

this beautifully HD-enhanced space flick only looks better with Alienware, great for anyone looking for some sweet space flying with techno music as the cherry on top.
