I didn’t play Cyberpunk 2077 at release, so I completely missed all the bugs, broken promises, and internet meltdowns. I only picked it up recently, and honestly? It’s a damn good game.

There’s clearly a ton of love and effort poured into Night City, and while nothing is ever perfect, the storytelling, atmosphere, and overall vibe are on point. The world feels alive, immersive, and weird in all the right ways.

As someone from Poland, it’s kind of frustrating to see how badly this game was handled at launch. Not by the devs—no way. This wasn’t their fault. It feels more like a case of corporate pressure, unrealistic deadlines, or even wider systemic issues (looking at you, government policies and corpo nonsense). The actual people making the game clearly cared.

If you’re picking it up now, in 2025, you're getting the best version of the game. It runs well, looks great, and the expansions make it even better. I'm glad I gave it a shot. Just a shame things had to go the way they did before it got here.
