This. This is a damn good game. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wish fulfilment for everyone who's ever fantasized about dropping everything and just seeking adventure. And vodka. Of course the graphics have aged and the mechanics aren't anything to write home about, but the way the game is crafted to just let you be and at the same time face the consequences of your actions without the game having to hold your hand and constantly remind you of where you stand in this world (unlike certain others I could name), the way it doesn't give you warnings like "X is a point of no return" (first playthrough, I finished the story without even realizing until the credits started to roll), the amount of goodies hiding right under your nose make this game a downright experience. Sure, some could see this openness as a fault or even paralyzing in it's freedom, butI personally chalk it up to a matter of taste. Worth every penny. Especially when the trilogy is on sale.

Why do I want to rescue a baby after the apocalypse? Who in their right mind thinks a baby would survive a single radiation storm?
