Blacklight: Retribution is a free to play first person shooter. I have played many free to play first person shooters before, and not many top this one. This game has many different types of guns and loadouts, and in addition you can customize your attachements to each gun, or your armor. The game does have the option for you to buy "Zen Points" to get certain items with real money, but there is a level system in the game, so each time you level up; you unlock different things as well. You can also use free "GP Points" to get those items and weapons instead. Some items require Zen Points, so if you are looking to get those, you will need to invest in some real cash. If you are looking for a great first person shooter game that is free to play, and has good replay vaule, Blacklight: Retribution is it.

I did not know what to expect when going into Alan Wake. I heard this game was pretty good, and for a while I wanted to try it, but never got to it. I finally bought this game when it on sale for Halloween in 2012. Alan Wake has a very interesting storyline, although it can get confusing at times, it is something new and refreshing. Now, I really need to address the things I did not like about the game. First, the controls. The controls were not that bad in general. However, everytime you try to pick up a object or move around, there is a noticable delay, and it really shows when trying to drive a vehicle around or change a weapon type. It can be fustrating at times when being attacked. I came across a few bugs that could have been fixed, like getting stuck between objects for no reason, but nothing major. In conclusion, this game reminded a lot like playing Resident Evil. Similar mechanics, bad controls, but good and interesting story line.
