@Nibbles - yes, that's true and I considered adding it (and a lot of other stuff) when writing the guide. But I wanted it to be a short guide with just the stuff I thought was really essential for beginners. In the end I decided using push to shift aggro was slightly more advanced - it probably belongs in a guide on tanking tactics.
Something to consider adding- I've read elsewhere that (especially for smaller enemies) a push will actually cause them to "aggro" to you for their next attack.
Don't know how true this is, or if they stay on you after that one attach, but felt it was worth mentioning.
@psycho.kid: Yes, blocking is definitely 360%. You can see it demonstrated in HaasGaming's video (https://youtu.be/bOSyTKBPlJU?t=57s) - the weapon's blocking arc determines whether the block has normal stamina cost or not, but you can still block hits that are outside it.
