Heatsink basically means you never overheat, Resourceful sharpshooter means you never overheat and you can dish out your special damage more often. The former is more comfortable to play I guess, but i wouldn't give up my special nuke for more lazors.
I think the biggest part of a Sienna guide should also be a "Train your Bardin" guide as well. Because Bardin, especially Ironbreaker, is a Sienna's best friend because you can actually just get sweeping headshots on every enemy Bardin is fighting as long as he doesn't jump.
It does take a bit of restraint to let off the trigger when you notice someone jumping into the line of fire, but considering all of the Beam staff's fire modes are pretty much instant, it's just as easy to aim around your allies than trying to continue aiming through them.
