Here's the fix that solved it for me:
1- Open device manager
2- Go to Display adapters
3- Right click you graphics driver and uninstall
4- Tick the box that shows up and proceed
5- Go to Nvidia or your manufacturers website and download the drivers (don't install before rebooting your PC and if you're using Nvidia don't try to download the driver through Geforce Exp.)
6- Reboot
7- Install the driver (again, if you're using Nvidia it may give you a error that says something like "Setup Wizard on going" or something like that. If so just wait a bit and install the driver through Geforce Exp.)
8- After installing the driver reboot your machine.
9- The game should be working now.
