Description
A set of various tweaks that empower the fighting capabilities of bots in a fair manner.

Having been recently updated, the mod now features 8 modifications :

1 - Better Melee Choices: The bots will now favor normal attacks over charged much more, unless their target would not be damaged by normal attacks.

2 - Ping Elites: The bots will ping any elites that attack them, within the same limits of what a player could do. This will trigger appropriate voicelines and Witch-Hunt buffs.

3 - Healing Threshold: Gives an option to change when bots should want to heal themselves, between when hurt, when wounded, and when extra heals are available. There's two seperate options for bots with and without natural bond equipped, since the default behaviour for those two is already different.

4 - No Longer Chase Specials: Bots will no longer walk towards specials to melee them if the special is too far away. They may still shoot them at any range.

5 - Ignore line of fire: Bots will no longer look for cover against ratling gunners, unless the ratling gun is within a lethal range.

6 - Bots No Longer Focus Bosses: Bots will ignore bosses entirely unless attacked by them, or no other enemies are nearby.

7 - Improved Revive Logic: Makes bots more likely to attempt revives through danger, and makes some careers use their active ability to secure an attempt if needed.

8 - Improved Active Ability Usage: Changes the logic that several careers use to determine when to use their active ability. NOTE: This may cause some careers to use their active ability too sparingly on difficulties below legend.

Each of these features can be independantly toggled on and off in the mod options.

@Someguyinhere this is what I have been doing for 10 years now. But always with zero result: as long as there are toxic antisocial troll who ridicule any request to fix bots, Fatshark will do nothing.

Quit complaining here and spam Fatshark's official lines of communication. Do not stop. Let them know this is unacceptable, PERIOD.

Fatshark has no time to work on their games: they are either on vacation or playing with their dogs. They don't care about living people. :BabyShark:
So if nothing changes soon, I just will write negative reviews for all their products.:hrx_rip:

@[Fatshark] Lev why not implement the parts of this mod that are functioning into the base game? It's been literally years and the vanilla bots are still awful. This mod was the one thing that made solo play actually enjoyable at higher difficulties, and de-sanctioning it for issues that don't give an advantage in gameplay is ridiculous. If those issues are such a problem then they could at least just have a disclaimer about them.

Instead y'all continue to rely on unpaid modders to fix the bots, while also refusing to re-sanction mods unless those unpaid modders put in more unpaid work, when the mod should have been incorporated into the base game years ago.

And even if they DID put in the work you're asking for y'all have a terrible track record of never getting around to sanctioning mods. There's currently 96 mods waiting for approval or denial of sanction status, and only 31 approved and 5 denied.

Do you need more proof that Fatshark considers solo players to be «Untermenschen» , a second-class citizen?
Because anyone's whims are satisfied quickly, but solo players' requests are never.
Like with the Zealot's healing: Fatshark forbade bots from healing Zealot EVER, without thinking about how it would harm the soloplay.

Honestly I (and probably heaps of other ppl) would be fine with a gimped version of this mod existing just so fatshark sanctions it. Frankly just #7 as a separate mod would be a weight off my shoulders.
I've died too many bloody times to a cretin bot standing over me bleeding out and not reviving bcs "ohhh nooooo there's rats! I will now proceed to block and do absolutely nothing else!"

This essential mod was out for, how long? 7 years? And fatshark only now "reviewed" it? Mod maker literaly did their job and they now making demands "If the mod author can implement these fixes, then we can certainly look at ...". Such arogance from good-for-nothing developers.
