In order to obtain the Doctorate achievement, you will need to find and read all the 29 unique xp ebooks scattered through the game in one playthrough.
I wanted to make this guide as some of them are well hidden.

Most of their content are Hugh Darrow speeches he made in the last decades about the differents augmentations.

Each of them will grant you 200 Xp for a total of 5 800 Xp, about 1 augmentation point.

To get them you will need:

• Hacking level 5 augmentation (but don't have to rush it, take your time)
  
• OR about a dozen Automatic Unlocking Devices (available with the preoder pack)
  
• Icarus Landing augmentation (not necessarily needed but greatly recommended)
  
• Jump and/or heavy weight holding augmentations are also recommended for a few eBooks
  (I'm thinking about the first one of Tai Yong Medical)

(I found about 27 myself and went on the wikia to find those I missed and get the english names as my game is in french. I also apologize for being french if you have a problem with that but I didn't choose. ;)

• N°01 / 29 - Neural Interface Protocols - The PEDOT Revolution - [Volume 9]
  
  You will find this one near the security terminal that controls the turret and camera just before you reach the augmented hacker and retrieve the Typhoon.
  It is on a crate under a cardboard box.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°02 /29 - Artificial Muscles - [Volume 6]
  
  This one is located on the desk just before you encounter Ezekiel «Zeke» Sanders.

• N°03 / 29 - The Nature of Neuroplasticity - [Volume 15]

In Pritchard's office, behind you when you face the desk with the terminal.


• N°04 / 29 - The Neural Hub - Design For a Next Generation - [Volume 17]

Office n°27, code is 4145.


• N°05 / 29 - The Tyranny of Biology - [Volume 11]

Office n°25. You can hack the security panel level 2 or go through the vent of the office 27.

• N°06 / 29 - The Visual Cortex 2.0 - The Eye, Redesigned - [Volume 14]
  
  This one is in the Detroit LIMB Clinic, between the two operation rooms in the hallway on a cart with medical stuff.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°07 / 29 - Nano-Augmentation Pipedream, or Theory for The Future - [Volume 29]
  
  You will find this one in Greg Thorpe's apartement (the guy who ask you to save his wife when you desarm the bomb in Sarif Manufacturing Plant). This apartment is located just behind the gas station, enter the door on the left wall. Code is 7767.
  The eBook is in the bedroom.
  
  
  
  
• N°08 / 29 - Respirocyte Technology & Hazardous Environment Parsing - [Volume 27]
  
  To find this one, look for the ladder near the basketball field, enter the first window you see, continue untill the end of the hallway. It is in Seurat's (a merchant) apartment on the right, in the bedroom.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°09 / 29 - The Threat of Cybernetic Discognition Disorder - [Volume 20]
  
  This one is located in the Police Morgue, I assume you have the codes or the hacking level as it is a main quest to get to the Morgue. The eBook is on the desk near the forensic.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°10 / 29 - The Intelligence Circuit - [Volume 26]
  
  Chiron Building, in your own apartment, you can't miss it, it's near your bed.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°11 / 29 - Arms (and Legs) for Man The Structure of Cybernetic Limbs - [Volume 5]
  
  Third floor of the residence with a gate (on the left before the basketball field alley), by the way, gate code is 0002. There's a surgery room in this apartment, code of panel level 5 is 2356.

• N°12 / 29 - Vestibular Augmentation and Enhanced Agility Factoring [Volume 18]
  
  In the basement of Derelict Rows which is under your feets if you get to the antenna.
  The eBooks is on silver barrels near the east exit.

*Note: you should be able to find them in the second passage.

• N°13 / 29 - Blurring The Boundaries between Man and Machine - [Volume 1]
  
  After the room with the turret and 4 guards (the last giant room), turn left twice after the camera in the hallway, it's in the room on the left. Code is 7984. If you decide to hack the panel, the 2 civilians might see you.

• N°14 / 29 - Understanding Vision (Part 1) - [Volume 2]
  
  In the left apartment of the Hengsha Court Garden entrance. In the kitchen. Didn't manage to get the code. Security panel is level 1.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°15 / 29 - Optical Enhancement Functionality - [Volume 23]
  
  In the Hive nightclub, in the security office on the right near the entrance. But you shouldn't hack the level 5 security panel in front of the guards. Just go in the backstage, and take the stairs after the DJ room, this office will be on the right.
  
  
  
  
  
• N°16 / 29 - The Use of Neuromuscular Facilitation System - [Volume 25]
  
  This one is also in the Hive nightclub, in Tong's office, you will have to convince Tong to let you see him in his own office.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°17 / 29 - Electrogravitic Technology Applications - [Volume 19]
  
  For this one, you'll have to go to Alice Garden Pods, pod n°143, third floor, right side, top-right pod.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°18 / 29 - The Science and Theory behind Cochlear Implants - [Volume 8]
  
  This one is in the Youzhao district, get on the roofs, find the antenna (the first one you will have to hack if you take the quest from the barman of the Hive) and enter the door nearby. It is in the apartment of the second floor on a table. You can also get to this apartment by taking the door near the sewer plate, not far of the Harvesters hideout. Don't have the code, security panel level 1.
  
  
  
• N°19 / 29 - Invasive Brain Machine Interfaces - [Volume 13]
  
  This one is also located in the Youzhao district, go back on the roofs and enter the apartment with a little terrace nearby. On the right before the 2 people talking if you entered Youzhao district from roof level. Code is unknown but security panel is level 1.

*Note: you should be able to get these in the second passage, except for those which are in the Hive.

• N°20 / 29 - Better Than Nature - [Volume 28]
  
  At the Pangu, after you take the ladder before taking the big elevator to get to the TYM towers, enter the vent on the left of the elevator, you'll need to stack crates or jump augment and the Icarus Landing augment. (There a way to get this one without the Icarus Landing aug, you need to throw crates through the vent to fall on them in order to take less damage.)
  
  
  
• N°21 / 29 - Radical Evolution is a Reality - [Volume 12]
  
  This one is in the laboratory where a guard ask you a card. Second row of desks, under a desk on the right, the eBook is on a crate. As it's well hidden, this one is very easy to miss.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• N°22 / 29 - Brain Implants - [Volume 4]
  
  In the hangar at the end of TYM, where there are 2 robots. It's in the left control room.

• N°23 / 29 - Human Powered - Autonomous Energy Reclamation Systems - [Volume 21]
  
  You will find this one is near the room with the stage for the TV, there is a turret and many guards. Get to the second floor and go to the room which face this previous room. Next to the room where TV cameras and stuff are stocked. You also end there if you took the elevator shaft on the right with the Icarus Landing augment and sneak through the vent.
  
  
  
• N°24 / 29 - Healing Thyself - Health Preservation Implants - [Volume 16]
  
  The last eBook of Picus is in the weird/secret/underground/hidden offices of Picus after you ride the funicular. Go through the hallway, after the «Hand holding the Sphere Holograph» take left, it's in the office on the right corner (don't go upstairs).

• N°25 / 29 - Vagus Nerve Stimulators - Repurposing the Technology - [Volume 10]
  
  Detroit Convention Center. The best way to get it is to convince Taggart to talk in the backstage, as you we'll be able to go freely in the backstage, but you can sneak through your way if you prefer (which I did, camo augmentation recommended). The eBook is in the room where 3 guards are watching TV, just before the room where there is Taggart's terminal and optionnaly Taggart, if you convinced him. Just look on the left of the TV screen.
  
  
• N°26 / 29 - Dermal Modification Processes [Volume 24]
  
  In Sandoval's hidden office, after you made your way through the sewers under his apartment. There are several eBooks in his office, but the right one is the one on his desk.

• N°27 / 29 - Understanding Vision (part 2) - [Volume 3]
  
  In the Harvesters Hideout, last floor, in the surgery room on the top-left corner.

• N°28 / 29 - Delgado and the Stimoceiver - [Volume 22]
  
  Bio-Engineering wing (not sure of the name), in the building where Nia Colvin and Eric Koss are detained. In room G23, this is the room near the elevator on the same floor where Nia Colvin is and under the room where Eric Koss is.
  
  
  
  
  
• N°29 / 29 - Reimagining Retinal Implants Doctor Dobelle's Success - [Volume 7]
  
  The last Xp eBook is in the white room after you find Megan Reed, you will have to hack the security level 5 safe. Well, congrats, you got the achievement.
