Imperial Star Destroyer

Description
Imperial Type StarDestroyer

Known alternately as Imperator, Imperator II, Imperial II and Darth Vader's ship in StarWars Episode IV "A new Hope"

Outer Hull based directly upon Fractalsponge's Imperator-class Star Destroyer Redux (with a few bits and bobs from the older non redux rendering).

Star Wars is an interesting setting to try to bring into Empyrion; due to the vast size difference between fighters and Capitol vessels the ship had to be made vast to possess a hangar entrance of note.

The result of basing the this behemoth around having a carrier function worth actually having internal hangar doors was this.

We present to you with what we have dubbed: The Imperial III.
A size class 30 monster.

The Empire would be pleased if Rebels were harmed in the making of this ship (sadly they were not)

8 Artillery cannon mounts in the main battery positions (not loaded in BP)
Many smaller turret mounting positions marked by hull textures
A full suite of ready sockets for a PVE spinal armament in the bow (or just load 10 Rocket launchers...)
Fully sensor-ed internal lighting to reduce computer loading (typical loading is less than class 10)

8 Full decks, many sub-decks
Multilayer Combat Steel wrapped core
Combat Steel outer hull (with both edge and corner blast protection)
Steel inner decks

5 hours of hover time in Akua (version Alpha 8)

Main Hangar entry is granted by the second largest possible single vehicle door (largest odd symmetry)
Inside the large hangar are multiple marked landing sites with center marks on the near walls for easy landings
Multiple sub-hangars, side hangars and a fore hangar further into the nose
Additionally, as this is Empyrion the rear port in the Bridge tower has also been converted into a very small landing bay

Includes:
7 Advanced constructors
135 farm plots
2 harvest boxes
26 cargo boxes in the main storage; a few here and there in hangar bays
Over 2G main thrust

And all for under 100K of any given resource

Deck break-down
1 - Ship Bridge
2 - Fleet Command (Admiral's deck)
3 - Neck, Briefing room and primary personnel airlock
4 - Server deck
5 - Officer's Barracks; Captain's stateroom and medical
6 - Manufacturing, Cargo, Upper farm, Galley, and Rec Area
7 - Main Hangar + all sub hangars, repair control, Warp, Secondary Power, and the Lower Farm (Also includes Off-line protection, Fore Gravity control)
8 - CIC, Main Reactor, Aft Gravity and Ship Core

Aux - Auxiliary areas (marked with black and red doors) are Engine access for armored thrusters (red doors, not main drive) and access to the ship's primary fuel and O2 reserves spread through the crawl spaces; none of these are oxygenated or guaranteed safe during engine-on situations

Note: No weapons are in the BP; arm it how you like!

Thanks for that stylish piece of artwork. I wonder if you really need all those rcs, that steal away 180 mio of cpu, did you try only some + thrusters?

when i spawn this in, it wont work because the cpu usage is to high, is there any fix to this?

Any ship built in Empyrion – Galactic Survival that did not originate in it will have some discrepancies when compared to its original universes size and shape. The purpose of this construct was not to provide a perfect model of an Imperial Star Destroyer
A prominent feature of the ISD is the brim trench, the edge not being a knife edge but rather inset with guns, windows, or etc. In our measuring scaling of the ship we (that is Achronus and myself) we found that the height of the trench in relation to the rest of the ship was between one and two blocks. So we decided to use the height of two and continue to the next issue.
This is a rendition of Fractalsponge’s ISD Redux; it is actually quite close in most respects. Height is a close match to the Fractalsponges model, there are many other renders. Nearly all of these renders disagree on the height of the ship; we chose Fractalsponge’s model because he worked on the “Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare”
