Introduction
If you're having trouble with the permadeath on the game, just alt+f4 everytime you die and open it again, since it saves on the start of the floor you'll be able to try again, the game wont take long to boot up, dont feel bad for it, the permadeath is a bit harsh for some early floors.

Yes, every run contains every rare room

This Guide DOES NOT contain the DLC achievements.
Legendary Weapons
Achievements that involve obtaining Legendary Weapons, weapons that dont break and have higher stats.

Thanks, Mr Skeltal
"Find the mystical axe, Parashu."

Dropped by the rare enemy "Funny Bones", a skeleton with a red cape found in the Mines (depths 1-5).

King Arthur's Blade
"Find King Arthur's mystical sword, Dyrnwyn."

Spud Lord
"Find the mystical talking mace, Sharur."

Dropped by the rare enemy "Potato King", an orc found in the swamp (depths 6-10). Can also be found wielded by Anansi, an human NPC that may spawn instead of the regular human.

STFU

Just throw Sharur into a pit.

Spear of Destiny
"Find Odin's legendary spear, Gungnir."

You were the chosen one
"Die while equipped with a Legendary item."

Die with a legendary weapon or piece of armor equipped, close the game and open again to come back at the last save.

Bonus
Asides from these Weapons there is a Legendary Bow that has no achievement related to it, the Khryselakatos, is found in the part of the underworld acessible only by breaking the back wall of the room that contains the swamp chest on the transition zone (depth 5), once in the underworld you have to find a hatch to the lower level and the bow will be dropped somewhere, pick it up and head back to the portal.
Legendary Armor and its Locations
Achievements that involve pieces of the Legendary Armor (Artifact Armor), and the locations the pieces are found.

Gifts from the Eternals
"Obtain and wear a full set of Artifact Armor."

The Artifact Armor consits of the 5 legendary pieces:

Artifact Helmet: Sphinx Veil
Armor +6, Intelligence +8

Found in the Gnomish Mines, a rare location found through a secret portal in the Mines (depths 1-5) protected by 2 gates with levers on the map, the mines are like a maze with a shop (in the upper right corner of the map) that contains a lever to acess the containment zone for the helmet (in the lower right corner of the map), the exit is indicated by an arrow on the image bellow, looting a pickaxe from a miner or using a spell to break inside the helmet room might be a better idea.

Thundergnome
"Escape from the Gnomish Mines."

Artifact Boots: Oracle's Treads
Armor +6, reveals entities on the map (like a ring of warning)

Found in the Haunted Castle, a rare location found through a secret portal in the Swamp (depths 6-10) protected by a hall of boulders (high speed advisable) and encircled almost entirely by a pit, the Haunted Castle level is a castle surrounded by a pit and a sidewalk, inside the castle the boots are on a room next to the fireplace, upon picking the boots up graves will appear on the sidewalk of the castle and start spawning ghouls, to leave there is a portal on the opposite sidewalk of the castle entrance, a ring of levitation or an enchanted mirror (teleports when used) is advised.

Robbing the Cradle
"Loot the Haunted Castle and escape with your life."

Artifact Gauntlets: Djinni's Brace
Armor +6, Boosted Magical Resistance

Found in the Sokoban puzzle after completing it without destroying many boulders, Sokoban is a rare location found through a secret portal in the Sand Labyrinth (depths 11-15) encircled by walls and lava, to complete the puzzle perfectly, you must push every boulder into one of the pits located in the corners of the map, carrying a ring of strength is advisable if you're not levelling strength.

Puzzle Master
"Unravel the mystery of Sokoban."

Artifact Breastplate: Dragon's Mail
Armor +6, Boosted Health Regeneration

Found in the Cockatrice Lair, the lair is a rare location found through a secret portal in the Crystal Caverns (depths 21-30), the entrance is guarded by a system of gates opened by the crystal facing them, and traps, usage of spells is advised to break in, once in the lair you will face a map wide puzzle with the position of the crystals (OR you can take the easy way and use opening spells on every closed gate you meet), inside a wide room you will see the red breastpiece dropped, to leave this place you must find the right hatch that leads to a boulder path puzzle (That you can ignore with an opening spell) and through another hatch past that, leading to the cockatrice itself, a portal leading to the next depth will open once the cockatrice is defeated.

Bellow is solving the hardest puzzle without magic

Cult Following
"Exit the Cockatrice's Lair."

Artifact "Cape": Wraith's Gown
Armor +0, Boosted Mana Regeneration, Grants Levitation

Found in Bram's Castle, dropped by Bram Kindly, at the top of the castle, the castle is a rare location found through a secret portal in the Citadel (depths 31-35), protected by 4 gates controlled by nearby levers and crystals, to progress on the castle you must take hatches upward, Bram Kindly will be on the "top floor" and he will drop the gown, the way out will open once the vampire is defeated.

Despair has its Own Calms
"Exit Bram's Castle."
Legendary Orbs
Before the battle with the baron, we find 3 orbs, these are legendary items with a single function, to be used on the secondary room by depth 20, when placed right they will grant buffs that will last for the levels following the battle with Herx

Well Prepared
"Have 3 Mystic Orb effects active simultaneously."

Green Orb
+8 DEX, +8 PER once its placed on the swamp section of depth 20

The first orb is found in the Jungle Temple, by the upper part of the map, the Temple is a rare location found through a secret portal in the Swamps (depths 6-10), protected by a hall of boulders (high speed advisable) and encircled almost entirely by a pit, in the Temple there are many enemies locked in cages, as you progress some will be released (ring of conflict advisable), treasure rooms on both sides but near the area where the trolls are locked is the gate that leads to the orb's pedestal.

Tricks and Traps
"Discover the trap-infested Temple in the swamp."

Red Orb
+8 STR, +8 CON once its placed on the sand section of depth 20

The second orb is found at the center of the Minotaur's Maze, the maze is a rare location found through a secret portal in the Sand Labyrinth (depths 11-15) encircled by walls and lava, the maze itself requires high speed to outrun the minotaur. (Map of the Maze on "Legendary Weapons" section)

Theseus' Legacy
"Escape from the Minotaur Maze."

Blue Orb
+8 INT, ~25% more magic resistance once its placed on the Ruin section of depth 20

The third orb is found inside the Mystic Library, the library is a rare location found through a secret portal in the Ruins, the entrance is surrounded by a pit and levers, inside is a hall of traps and at the core is a pool of lava with the portal leading to the library on the center, the library contains no enemies and only loot.

Once the 3 are placed the achievement will trigger

When Herx dies he will drop the purple orb that is unrelated to the achievement and will lead to further levels.
Levels
Achievements related to progress in the dungeon

Enter the Dungeon
"Descend to level 1 of the dungeon."

Just hop on the first hatch you see in the game, no way to miss this one.

Twisty Passages
"Escape the mines."

Reaching depth 5 will trigger this.

Jungle Fever
"Escape the swamp."

Reaching depth 10 will trigger this.

Sandman
"Escape the sand labyrinth."

Reaching depth 15 will trigger this.

Lich Hunter
"Find and defeat Baron Herx in his lair."

Reaching depth 20 and killing Herx will trigger this achievement, further levels can be acessed by placing the orb he drops in the pedestal that will rise with LMB.

Evil Incarnate
"Find and defeat the Baphomet."

Once you reach the Ruins (depth 16-20) you can enter the Underworld through a secret portal in the Ruins, the entrance is surrounded by a pit and levers, inside is a hall of traps and at the core is a pool of lava with the portal leading to the Underworld, without levitation you cant navigate through the underworld, find the hatches leading downward and keep going until you reach Hell, "If you’re going through hell, keep going." just keep going down until you reach baphomet, explore the place if you will. Killing Baphomet, and leaving Hell through a portal that will open, will trigger the achievement

Spelunky!
"Escape the Caves"

Reaching depth 30 will trigger this

...Will Always Be Waiting
"Put an end to the Archmagisters' troubles."

Reaching depth 35 and killing the lich siblings will trigger this achievement, this is the last level of the game
Magic
Achievements that use spells to be triggered.

Let There Be Strobe
"Exploit the Light spell by casting it 20 times in a single minute."

Cast the light spell 20 times in a minute, easier achieved if spammed a staff of light.

Thick Skull
"Kill a Scarab using a magic spell."

Kill a scarab (found in the Sand Labyrinth depths 11-15) using a spell, these have a high magic resistance so just soften their health bar with a few physical hits.

A Life for a Life
"Sacrifice your entire health pool to Dominate an enemy and survive it."

Use the spell "Dominate" on an enemy that has more Health than you while wearing an amulet of life saving, or just take a lot of damage and cast the dominate on a full HP target.

Bodyguards
"Have 2 Dominated Crystal Golems under your leadership."

Use the spell "Dominate" on 2 golems from the crystal caves, if they are both alive the achivement will trigger.

Confessor
"Dominate an NPC that is already allied to you."

Beat an ally that you recruit by speech (RMB) then use dominate on him.

Magic Mastery
"Learn 20 Spells."

Just learn 20 spells by reading books along the run, you can level your magic aptitude by spamming spells you know.

Recycler
Give an item to an Allied Automaton to recycle.

Well its here and not on NPCs because it only triggered for me when I dominated an automaton by accident and he picked up some stuff from the ground, Im pretty sure it can happen if you recruit him directly though.
Combat
Achievements triggered by Combat Mechanics or direct consequences of combat.

The Rhythm of the Knight
"Perform a Block, Attack tradeoff 3 times against a single foe without taking an unblocked hit."

Simple combat task with a shield, shield yourself when the enemy attacks and attack right after, doing this 3 times triggers the achievement.

I am The One Who Knocks
"Tank a minotaur's attack and take no damage from it without blocking."

Minotaurs are a constant presence in the dungeon, being a challenge only in the early floors, you'll be able to tank one in no time.

Sponge
"Survive 150 damage or more taken from a single attack."

It's a bit of luck to take just enough damage to not die and trigger the achievement, by the Crystal Caves, with most of the Legendary Armor and a good shield, try tanking a power attack from a crystal golem, these deal enormous damage, enough to trigger the achievement of course, but you'll have to survive.

♥♥♥♥ Block
"Block and take no damage against a Cockatrice's melee attack."

Cockatrices deal a lot of damage lets try Flex Tape® , having a legendary armor and a great shield + blocking the attack might tank the blow completely.

Tough as Nails
"Have 50 enemies break their weapons against you throughout multiple playthroughs."

Just find a shield in the starter levels and stand around waiting for the enemy hit you enough for his decrepit weapon to break, then kill him and move on, might take some playthroughs to unlock.

Unstoppable Force
"Break 50 pieces of enemy armor throughout multiple playthroughs."

If you hit enemies with decrepit armor enough, their armor might break, the armor only breaks when the enemy can take damage, your best shot is fighting with bare hands goblins with armor, since its mostly decrepit and they'll take some damage, if you wanna farm for it, just clear the goblins from the jungle temple (green orb) then close and open the game again.

NPCs
Achievements Related to NPCs in the game

Natural Born Leader
"Convince at least three NPCs to follow you at once."

Its not hard to have someone follow you, but they die easily, if you're struggling just keep going, at some point you'll reach Hamlet that is full of allied NPCs.

Angel of Death
"Perform a fatal stealth attack on an enemy that is attacking another player or allied NPC."

Recruit someone, use them as bait for some weak monster and beat the monster from behind while the NPC is distracting.

Thank the Tank
"Have an allied player or NPC kill an enemy that you are Blocking."

The opposite of "Angel of Death", just sit there holding your shield until the attacker is dead by the hands of your ally.

Heal Bot
"Heal 1000 points of Player or Allied NPC hit points in a single playthrough."

Heal your allies with spells, every healing spell affects all your allies.

Earn This
"Give a Legendary item to a Player or Allied NPC."

Drop a legendary item (weapon or armor) near a npc and just go back and forth on that place until he picks it up.

Escort
"Return to Hamlet with a human NPC ally."

Manage to keep an ally alive until the Herx battle at depth 20 and just outrun him to the entrance of the battle so the wall closes on him when Herx gets released, after killing Herx, placing his orb on the pedestal and returning to Hamlet, the achievement will trigger.

You'll Thank me Later
"Throw a Healing or Extra Healing potion at another Player or allied NPC"

Find one of the many Potions of healing in the game and throw it at your ally.

Cheers!
"Throw booze at another character while you are under its effects"

Find 2 bottles of booze, drink one and throw the other at your recruited ally.
Killing and Dying
Achievements that involve either killing or dying in a specific way

Throw Me The Whip!
"Get crushed by a boulder."

Avoid this achivement, I dare you, eventually you'll die for a boulder.

Homicidal Maniac
"Kill at least 10 humans in a single game."

Kill the humans you see on the playthrough, asides from shopkeepers when you're low level, these guys are really strong.

Professional Burglar
"Kill at least 3 shopkeepers in one game."

Save this for when you're ready to handle these magical merchants, have some ranged damage sources ready and keep dodging his spells.

Repossession
"Pick up an item that an Incubus or Succubus stole from you."

Succubus and Incubus are random spawns from the fountains, among the skills they have, there is one where it steals your weapon and teleports away (mostly), just hang onto them until they steal, then find them, kill them, and get your weapon back, use a ring of warning to make finding them easier.

Know Thyself
"Kill a Shadow who is mimicking your identity."

By the Citadel (depths 31-35) spawns a certain enemy called shadow, it'll suck some of your health and mana and mimic your weapon and shield, attacking you shortly after this mimic, killing a shadow after he mimics you will trigger the achievement.

Sitting Duck
"Kill 10 enemies while they are paralyzed or ensnared in a single playthrough."

It might be hard to get paralyzed enemies by the start of the game, being far easier later on at the Crystal Caves (depths 21-30), where every Cockatrice drops a staff of stoneblood (paralysis), but ensnaring an enemy early on is easy, even more for the rogue class that starts with bear traps that will ensnare enemies once they step on it.

Reunited
"Kill a Minotaur after encountering Herx."

Far easier than it seems, minotaurs are easy prey shortly after the beggining of the game, killing one after herx is even easier and he guaranteed to come at some point past Herx.

Scales in your Favor
"Assassinate a Cockatrice."

Assassinating a Cockatrice on one go is hard since they have a large health pool, so soften up his health bar then run away (easier with invisibility or high speed), when he turns away you come back and stab him in the back, thus assassinating him, just watch out for his paralysis during combat.

'Tis But a Scratch
"Defeat a powerful enemy with no more than 5 hit points remaining."

Well this is a hard one if you dont know who are considered powerful enemies, the easier way to do this is at the Cockatrice Lair, rare room that you can enter via a portal on the Crystal Caves (depths 21-30), once you're through through the whole dungeon, either by completing the puzzles or spamming open spells at every closed gate, you'll have to fight the cockatrice in its lair before the exit portal opens up, thats the easiest "powerful enemy" for the achievement, lower his health bar so he can die from 1 hit and then just wait til he gets you bellow 5hp, you might die some times so it can be a bit frustrating to get, but this is the easiest way.

Did You See That?!
"Kill a monster with a shuriken after it has twice bounced off a wall."

Finding a shuriken is easy, the crystal ones are sold from nearly every merchant that sells weapons, it's found in chests everywhere, the tough part is to ricochet it twice, its easier to manage on the Sand Labyrinth (depths 11-15), since there are hallways everywhere, you just have to get an enemy low on health to a corridor and shoot the shuriken on a wall, after that it's a matter of luck.

Your Own Worst Enemy
"Get a lich killed by its own summoned minion."

Easiest Way: Hit Herx until he starts spawning a lot of minions while you equip a ring of conflict, since when he reaches half of his health bar he removes the torches from the map, the minions will target him as the closest thing they can see, should be an easy fight, you can probably try to do so on the siblings as Erudyce spawns automatons but it should be far harder since the map is wider and not dark.

Narcissist
"Use a Mirror Shield to kill an enemy using its own reflected spell."

The mirror shield is obtained from the incubus summoned by chance on the fountain, once you get one just find an enemy that attacks with magic, get him low on health, and hold the shield up (SPACE BAR) pretty close to him, until he shoots again and hits itself.

Bomb Squad
"Successfully disarm 5 Automatons using Lockpicking."

To disarm an automaton with lockpicking you have to attack him, with a lockpick, from behind, should be hard for classes that start with no lockpicking skill, or people that dont level it, so picking rogue for this one and training lockpicking from the start (and saving at least 2 picks for the automatons) is a nice idea
Items Handling

Born Again
"Survive instant death with an amulet of life saving."

Find an amulet of life saving and die while wearing it.

One Man's Trash
"Use a Cursed Magicstaff until it breaks."

Find a Cursed Magicstaff and use it until it breaks.

Don't Forget to Bring a Towel!
"Use a towel to stop bleeding, clean pie off your face, and wipe grease from your hands."

Find and use a Towel in 3 circunstances, after an enemy made you bleed, after a cursed pie explodes on your face blinding you, wipe the grease after you eat something from a tin.
It triggered for me after eating food from a tin (using a tin while owning a tin opener) and cleaning with a towel, I'm nearly sure I haven't done the others.

Tempt Fate
"Eat Tomalley shortly after vomiting."

Tomalley is dropped from scarabs at the Sand Labyrinth (depths 11-15), just eat too much or eat rotten food to vomit, then eat a tomalley.

Well Read
"Find and read all of the books."

This might be a little hard, so I advise making a list of all the books on the game and crossing them once you read.

Rhinestone Cowboy
"Identify 50 pieces of Worthless Glass throughout multiple playthroughs."

After levelling your appraise enough to recognize a gem (level it by appraising a lot of times, failed appraises count), recognize 50 pieces of worthless glass through multiple playthroughs.

Maybe It'll Be Different
"Read two scrolls of fire."

Dont learn from your mistake of reading a scroll of fire once and burning, doing it twice.

Hot Shower
"Use a sink or fountain to extinguish flames."

When something sets you on fire, like a scroll of fire or a fireball from an enemy, you rush to a fountain or a sink and use it, extinguishing the flames.

Filthy Rich
"Obtain 10,000 gold."

Obtain 10k gold by looting enemies and the dungeon, or by selling items like gems you've identified.

Gilded
"Obtain 100,000 gold."

Obtain 100k gold, far harder than the 10k one, play as a merchant and level all you can selling everything you wont use, once you reach max level in the trading skill any merchant will buy anything from you so abuse of that, clear the floor and sell everything on it, clearing the rare rooms and the hidden rooms with gold helps.

Last Resort
"Destroy a boulder using Digging or a Pickaxe while it's rolling toward you."

Use a pickaxe/dig spell to destroy a boulder that is rolling towards you, staff of digging recommended for the reaction time and range.

Yes We Can!
"Eat 10 tins of food in a single playthrough."

Carry around a tin opener to eat the tins you find, carry around a towel for after you eat the tin, and level enough to not be slowed by the enormous weight of the tins, faster if you just buy a lot of tins from a merchant.

It's All in The Reflexes
"Catch an Insectoid or Goatman's flying thrown weapon."

Carry a throwable weapon to the citadel, largest one is probably the steel chakram, tank a goatman until he breaks his weapon, drop the throwable weapon on the ground and when he picks it up he will throw at you, RMB on the direction he will throw and you maybe will get it in the air. You can also try it with Insectoids on the Crystal Caves but they don't pick up any weapons you drop, so your chance on triggering the achievement lies in catching the ones it spawned with.

#Blessed
"Hold a +10 Weapon."

This is a matter of luck, enchant your weapon enough that it reaches a +10 level, you can enchant weapons with a scroll of enchant weapon or, sometimes, a fountain can enchant your weapon.

It won't work with fist weapons (Affected by enchant armor and enchant weapon scrolls)

Negative Review for MLP
"Deface an equine mural."

On Herx level (depth 20) use a ring of levitation to go around the arena, to the right side there is a giant mural of a pony, destroy its face with a pickaxe

Multiplayer
Achievements that require another player

Not a Team Player
"Kill another player."

Just kill your friend, im sure he wont mind.

That boulder moved Itself!
"Kill an ally player with a pushed boulder."

Kill your friend and say the name of the achievement.

In Greater Numbers
"Win the game with at least two players alive."

Beat the lich siblings with at least 2 players alive.
Playthrough Conditions
Achievements triggered by a specific behavior on the playthrough.

Local Customs
"Start a game with a Workshop or local mod file loaded."

Subscribe to an item on the Barony workshop, click on "workshop" by the main menu, click on "get subscribed item list", click on "load item" for the item you subscribed, click on "start modded game", once you start the game, the achievement will trigger.

Cartographer
"Launch the Barony level editor."

When you start Barony on steam, a pop-up asks if you want to play the game or start the editor, just click on the editor and start, the achievement will be triggered when it loads up.

Troll's Blood
"Gain extra Health Regeneration from two sources simultaneously."

Unlock it by having the Dragon's Mail ("Legendary Armor" section for further details) and a ring of regeneration equipped simultaneously.

Arcane Link
"Gain extra Mana Regeneration from two sources simultaneously."

Unlock it by having equipped a Vampire Doublet (dropped by vampires in the Citadel) and the Wraith's Gown ("Legendary Armor" section for further details).

Spice of Life
"Start at least one game with every class."

At least get to the first level and die at some point, with every class.

Vegetarian Conduct
"Win the game without having eaten any tins, meat, or fish."

Just eat whatever that's not meat/tins/fish, so only tomalley/bread/apples/cream pie/cheese.

Foodless Conduct
"Win the game without eating any food."

Turn off hunger on the misc part of the settings (and turning classic mode on to make the game shorter), this way you wont have to eat, but it'll also disable any form of passive health regeneration, so a mage class is advisable on a foodless run for the healing spells early on.
Going as monk, that starts with a ring of digestion, might work as well since the ring is overpowered.

Illiterate Conduct
"Win the game without having read any books, scrolls, or spellbooks."

Just dont read any books/scrolls, its pretty much a "no magic" achievement, its not hard, but you'll probably have more difficulty on gates, and miss the healing spells, dont pick a mage class for this and turn classic mode on to have a shorter run.

Penniless Conduct
"Win the game without collecting any gold."

Go through all the levels without collecting dropped gold or selling your items, actually its just smarter to kill the shopkeepers to get their items if you're strong enough, turn classic mode on to have a shorter run.

Hot Tub Time Machine
"Gain 50+ Levels of Swimming with Hunger turned off."

Turn off Hunger on the misc tab of settings and just stay on water until it unlocks, first time you'll see water in the game will be by the swamps (depths 6-10)

Brawler
"Attain victory in the Citadel by only attacking with your fists and throwing potions."

You have to go an entire run without attacking with anything but your fists, using items, like the magic mirror, is permitted, books and scrolls are wont ruin it, but using the spells will, I had to go the entire run without equipping any weapons to trigger for me, so pick a class that starts with no weapons equipped like monk or joker.
Speed and Dificulty
Achievements that require speedrunning or hardcore mode.

Classical Hardcore
"Finish the game from beginning to end with Classic and Hardcore modes on."

Before starting the game go on settings and enable classic and hardcore on the Misc tab of the settings, the game will get quite harder, but since its just until you defeat Herx, its not that bad, just start off with an easy class like warrior and work with your shield to survive, run and gun for enemies with a too high damage and/or health bar, and abuse of any magic and items you can find.

Postmodern Hardcore
"Finish the game from beginning to end with Hardcore mode on and Classic Mode off."

Apparently the rarest achievement, have enabled the hardcore and disabled the classic on the misc tab of the settings, its like the classical hardcore achievement, but since you gotta go past Herx, you get to meet stronger enemies that will beat you with its far higher damage and health bar.

Boots of Speed
"Defeat Baron Herx or Baphomet in 20 minutes or less."

First of all activate the clock on the hud, by the misc tab of settings.
Now you're going to start a game with the joker, before entering the first floor drop quickly all the useless stuff on your inventory like the scrolls of teleport (not the scroll of food, might be handy), the blindfold, using the confuse book and dropping it, DONT drop the lucky stone, it has a negative weight, equip the levitation ring and go in.
What you're going to do is a recon run of the floor, finding the exit, then you'll ALT+F4 the game and come back and rush to the exit, thats for a regular floor, specific floors run different
Once you reach the floor that has the Gnome mine entrance, just float over past the gates and enter the hatch, you're going there to steal a pickaxe from a gnome and leave, watch out for the sentries with the lightning rod, if you see one, get away from it, trolls aint that much of a problem unless you're cornered, just steal the pickaxe, head to the exit and dont die, that in the shorter timespan.

Outside the mine you get back to usual business, recon run, alt f4, and run to the hatch, keep doing this until you reach depth 5, the end of the mines, once there you'll have to break the back wall of the chest on the swamp biome, once you break it you'll see a portal, enter it

You'll find yourself on the underworld, recon run, alt f4, and run to the hatch, by the second level of the underworld you'll be doing a recon run to find a golden bow dropped on some of those platforms, the bow is Khryselakatos, the Legendary Bow, then alt f4, real run to get the bow and run back to the spawn to enter that purple portal.
Ok now you're back at the swamps, recon run, alt f4, and run to the hatch, if its not a floor that contains a portal structure
If you feel like it you can take the Oracle treads easily due to the levitation ring, and take the green orb since you're fast, but the treads might be heavy and its not going to be that useful, since you're going as a glass cannon
Taking the loot of the swamps, or not, you'll eventually reach the sand labyrinth, recon and run to the hatch is advised since sokoban takes quite some time and you're not going to attack Herx with Gungnir as a glass cannon
The same goes for the ruins past the sand, if you feel like it you can take the blue orb since there is nothing defending it
Right past the ruins, depth 20, is Herx, I've reached this point in 5 minutes on the timer having looted the oracle treads, the battle isn't short but shouldnt take more than 10 minutes, 6 minutes are enough if you fight him just with the bow and confuse spells on the creatures he summons
Also you might be lucky to find a ring of conflict on the way, that just makes Herx too easy to beat, since he spawns minions when damaged

Blessed Boots of Speed
"Reach the final stage in 45 minutes or less and win the game."

First of all turn the clock in the hud by the misc tab of settings, its the same joker-enchanted bow strategy, but this time you'll go for the artifact armor as well, levelling a bit on the way with skills you can level while moving like appraising, leader, casting and magic, also levelling your combat skills might be useful, just kill some enemies on floors that dont contain any rare rooms and rush to the hatch, on floors with rare rooms you'll try to get them as quickly as possible.
You only got to reach the siblings floor before 45 minutes, the battle can take as long as possible,
so run around the arena recovering hp the whole run, try bugging the enchanted bow shots (dont feel bad, everyone uses this sort of thing on speedruns), charging a punch and equipping the bow can allow you to shoot 2 arrows without charging any of them, its tough to hit this, but it allows you to shoot while moving, it would be advisable to kill erudyce first but if you cant do it just go for orpheus.
After the tough and long battle the achievement should trigger as soon as you enter the portal.

The guide is old by now, figured someone would eventually make another guide but seems like it didn't happen.
Most of the achievements not listed here are for interactions with the DLC races, possible to unlock without owning it, they seem fairly straightforward in their descriptions but I don't plan on expanding on these any time soon as it would take way too long and I don't even own the DLCs.
Patched exploits are the other kind of misinformation here, I'll try to verify which ones were fixed but it seems like the devs got most of them, I wish they had kept them since none of them were game breaking and patching them just made some achievements harder.

Get a lich killed by its own summoned minio. I did it three times.
Ring of conflict - did NOT give me the achievement.
Charm monster - did NOT give me the achievement.
Confuse - DID give me the achievement.

Is this currently the most up-to-date achievement guide for Barony? I know it's not perfect, but I haven't found a newer one so far.

if you feel like updating this, you should probably note that you can no longer cast opening on the doors of the cockatrice's lair

Well I regularly come into teammates who love to use crafting systems even if that is suboptimal in current game situation. So I think yes its quite popular atm.

Never really got to tinkering with brewing, did it get more popular from the last DLC?

You can actually dig with brawlermode on, throw Firestorm potion to the wall you want to dig and its gone. To brew the potion right click and hold alembic, select "experiment" and then mix Acid + Cure Ailment or Acid + Sickness.

Hey I want to give an update about the It's All in the Reflexes achievement. I got the achievement in Citadel with a goatman. It turns out that insectoid will not pick throw weapon up, instead they will only use the daggers they carry, once they run out of the daggers they will just punch you with bare hands, which makes the achievement a big challenge. However goatman will always pick up throw weapon as long as there is any, which makes the achievement a piece of cake.
